Kristin Ess Hair is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing digital team. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with Kristin Ess, the founder, to develop and execute the overall social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will also collaborate closely with the marketing team to support a cross-channel marketing experience across the consumer journey.
This role reports to the Director of Social Media.
Key Responsibilities - in collaboration with the Founder and Brand Marketing Team:
- Lead and manage the launch of the brand’s social channels
- Establish the brand’s social media strategy across channels to support objectives including:
- Help define the brand voice and identity on social to be carried out across brand social media channels
- Oversee planning of organic + paid social calendars for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest etc. in collaboration with marketing, e-comm, creative + media teams to deliver an integrated paid social campaign
- Manage and oversee agencies to effectively handle community management across platforms, through flawless execution of response times and content delivery in an authentic brand voice; includes partnering with Customer Service team
- Collaborate with Influencer Marketing team for an integrated influencer & social strategy
- Oversee reporting and analyze performance of social media initiatives, including channel growth, impressions, engagements, referral traffic and conversions. Create regular reports to share with internal teams and Founder team
- Share expertise on evolving landscape by identifying and proposing new, innovative social media campaigns and initiatives in support of key brand moments, events, and milestones
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in social media and social content creation
- Proven history developing and managing strategies and campaigns to grow social media audiences and engagement for a brand across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc
- Experience in Beauty required, experience in hair care a plus
- Experience using social media analytics tools
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of a brand across various types of content
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Passionate about all things social
