Mattress Firm is excited to announce the opening of the (Remote) Digital Media Specialist role! We are currently seeking to fill a role for a Digital Media Specialist to join our Social Media team. In this role, the Digital Media Specialist will assist the Digital Media Managers to leverage the brand voice as expressed through all social media channels, influencer relations and social media activations. This role calls for a self-starter with a positive attitude, who is looking to advance their career in digital media with national brands.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Daily social community management, content scheduling, and posting.
  • Track and manage budgets for influencer product gifts and social boosts.
  • Complete projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor or senior management.
  • Assist social managers in executing influencer strategies: identifying, vetting, outreach, gifting, logistics, reporting, and calendaring.
  • Work closely with social team to help develop and create social-first content for evergreen campaigns, promotions and sponsorships.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of brand-specific social media strategy leveraging existing and emerging social media platforms
  • Contribute ideas for in-house content photo/video shoots. Assist in executing the shoots.
  • Keep a pulse on the digital landscape and social trends, provide a POV on how to best incorporate trends into our current strategy, and identify new channels, creative optimizations and new audiences.
  • Assist in monitoring social listening tools, trending topics and hashtags for engagement and key conversations opportunities.
  • Assist in monitoring reactive social opportunities with influencers and user generated content and contribute on brand responses / outreach.
  • Work closely with social care agency to ensure they are up to date on all promotions, policies, etc.
  • Analyze current social audiences and identify new audience opportunities for both MFRM and Sleep.com brands
  • Assist in tracking KPIs and report performance that meets the channel-specific goals of the brand(s) and assist agency partner(s) in the development and analysis of ongoing reporting, including monthly brand social media analysis and development of post-campaign reports.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation
  • Communicates any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contributes ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company
  • Work cross functionally with other department to assist with needs as needed (e.g. social promo support, giveaway coordination, etc.).

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing or related discipline preferred. required

Professional Experience

  • 2+ Years General knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. required
  • 2+ Years Experience in coordinating influencer campaigns required

Pay Range

40,000-80,000
