Peppermint (IG @justpeppermint) is looking for a passionate and energetic Influencer Manager who’s excited about Peppermint and Influencer Marketing. As an influencer-driven brand, we are expanding our brand presence with aligned and relevant influencers across social media platforms.
The ideal candidate has experience working with Influencers in the past and digital performance marketing, preferably with a direct-to-consumer brand. You are familiar with eCommerce and comfortable with retail operations processes, inventory management and accuracy.
What You’ll Do:
- Own content creation for existing and new social platforms; manage the concept and storytelling stage of production (concept, shot list, some design/film) for all social content to ensure consistent posting + strong brand storytelling, including content derived from influencer or third-party content creator partnerships
- Lead an always-on Social Media strategy: establish viral and data-driven growth tactics and content streams for Instagram, TikTok. Oversee monthly content streams, influencer takeovers, community management and aggressive growth and engagement goals.
- Manage the content calendar/cadence for social platforms with a strong understanding of and focus on the ongoing business needs; Have a hyperawareness of content balance between promotional, educational, storytelling and entertainment
- Be hyperaware of what is on-brand and not, and align social content storytelling accordingly to be in the same direction as brand value and messages
- Track and aggregate community and influencer UGC across social platforms. Proactively surface this content to the Creative Designer and the Head of Growth Marketing to be used in multi-purpose streams and repost on owned channels.
- Think critically about how owned Social Media platforms can contribute to revenue and site traffic goals as well as social follower and engagement metrics.
- Help us understand what our world is saying: utilize listening insights to develop thoughtful and consistent content and provide feedback to the rest of the team when our Friends are saying something (Give the people what they want! And what they need!)
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2+ dedicated to influencer performance marketing and strong preference for experience in DTC eCommerce
- Working knowledge of the Influencer landscape across social media platforms
- Experience with negotiating terms and rates in prior work experiences
- Analytical, structured thinker who is comfortable with numbers and has Excel experience with a track record of leveraging insights to optimize campaigns
- Working knowledge of the influencer landscape across all social media platforms.
- Prior experience with influencer marketing platforms a plus, as well as negotiating terms
- A highly organized “doer” with an exceptional ability to prioritize, multitask, work autonomously, and communicate proactively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with the team at all levels in a highly collaborative environment
