About the Position
Act+Acre's influencer strategy and partnerships are a driving force for brand awareness and a key pillar of overall brand strategy. The Influencer Marketing Associate will focus on creator discovery, relationship development, and seeding to drive brand awareness while also supporting the influencer team.
Core Responsibilities
- Support influencer strategies and initiatives
- Assist with creator discovery, maintaining seeding lists, and developing relationships
- Assist with execution of mailings for influencers, including overseeing shipping with admin, tracking results, and UGC
- Work cross-functionally with Act+Acre’s social media, brand marketing and creative teams to execute campaigns that fuel departmental needs and ensure that creator selection, messaging and deliverables are aligned with overall goals
- Manage Brand Ambassador program including opt-in campaign management, affiliate payments, on-boarding, contracts, gifting and order placement, etc.
- Manage relationship building initiatives across all PR and Influencer efforts.
- Lead execution of creative mailers for both PR and Influencer efforts.
- Assist in creating compelling written materials including press releases and email pitches, including communication with internal team for expert quotes
- Proactively conduct ongoing creator discovery and recruitment to ensure continued growth of influencer communities
- Assist with international public relations and influencer efforts
- Assist with monthly reporting; help identify actionable insights to inform future campaigns
- Work alongside PR to plan and execute influencer and press events
- Compile competitive research of influencer activations, trends and mailings
- Audit social media coverage to ensure that posts are consistent with industry guidelines and brand messaging
- Maintain key knowledge and best practices of various social media platforms with a focus on Instagram and TikTok
- Stay current with best practices, emerging social media platforms, strategies and industry standards related to influencer marketing, public relations and social media and how they can connect to overall brand strategies
- Stay informed on current events and trends, particularly as they relate to the beauty and hair industry
About You
- 1-3 years of experience working in influencer marketing, social media, and/or influencer event planning
- You are passionate about hair, beauty, influencers, PR, and social media.
- You are highly organized, have great attention to detail, impeccable follow-through, have exceptional spelling and grammar, and can manage multiple projects on different timelines.
- An all-star communicator, comfortable with outreach and briefing
- Excellent creative judgment to identify future on-brand partnerships and content
- A self-motivated go-getter
