Job Summary

This position will be responsible for managing the daily relationships with consumer influencer talent and relevant agency partners, developing strategies in alignment with marketing, social, and education to support product launches and other key priorities. This role needs to liaise cross-functionally with haircolor, haircare, and styling/men’s Marketing teams daily to ensure consumer influencer campaigns and activations are fully integrated and communicated. This role will work with both internal partners within the Professional Products Division and L’Oreal, as well as external with agencies, talent, and managers/agents.

A few years of Beauty industry experience is a requirement with strong influencer relationships preferred. In addition, someone comfortable with a fast-paced environment, juggling regularly shifting priorities, with a results-oriented approach and a can-do attitude, will be best poised for success. This position reports to the Director, Brand Communications, working closely with Senior Manage, Professional Influencers, and Manager, Public Relations, for further alignment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in the Beauty industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent organizational skills with avid attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well-developed organizational and conceptual development skills and ability to follow through and complete multiple tasks and goals
  • A strong interest and understanding of the beauty/fashion/lifestyle area
  • Excellent personal manner, outgoing personality, comfortable dealing with many external contacts and representing Redken to influencers, industry notables, and agency partners in a positive light
  • Must be willing to travel for brand events and activations as needed

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day point of contact for consumer influencer agency partner(s), briefing relevant teams on new launches and brand priorities, campaign KPIs, talent selection, and contract negotiations
  • Support Marketing priorities and key retailers (Amazon and Ulta) to further drive influencer content through paid media campaigns, aligning with Digital Content leads and internal/external partners on flight timing, usage rights, and other key details
  • Work closely with L’Oreal USA CDMO team and Legal, staying up to date on latest corporate influencer guidelines and best practices, implementing in brand campaigns and sharing back with larger teams as necessary
  • Form strong relationships with social media platform partners (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest) and utilize key learnings to roll out strong influencer campaigns in partnership with agency teams
  • Develop program strategies and campaign KPIs and ongoingly report out metrics and successes to key internal and external team members
  • Measure, analyze, and report key consumer influencer metrics via Traackr and other internal tools, working closely with PPD and CDMO counterparts
  • Keep on eye the pulse of the consumer influencer and competitive market space, identifying new influential talent and trends on social platforms (i.e. TikTok, Instagram)
  • Ideate new ways to engage consumer influencer talent with the brand through events, experiential activations, mailers, and other tentpole moments
