The Brand Manager will bring our brand to life through the development of marketing strategies and creation of marketing campaigns. The Brand Management team oversees all brand messaging and storytelling, and is responsible for bringing the brand narrative to life across channels. In this role, you’ll support the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager in building and executing brand and product campaigns, from concept to photo shoot to final asset development. You’ll be responsible for creating in-season asset strategies, briefs, and final content working in partnership with the Creative team. You’ll also work with influencers and brand partners to create engaging content and marketing activations supporting Birdies’ key initiatives.

This position reports to the Senior Brand Manager. It is a hybrid in-office role based in San Francisco: working from home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and from our Presidio, SF office on Wednesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of seasonal and evergreen marketing campaigns including photo shoot planning, building content strategy, and briefing cross-channel messaging
  • Build strategy and lead in-season asset briefing (i.e. email, direct mail) to support brand objectives and retail sales goals
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to support cross-channel storytelling
  • Collaborate with merchandising team to understand product assortment, priorities, and messaging opportunities for core and new launch styles
  • Manage all brand and wholesale partnership initiatives, ensuring partner and activation fit to Birdies’ strategic objectives as well as maintaining brand voice across distribution channels
  • Act as voice of the customer by overseeing customer feedback and product reviews, executing quarterly customer insights surveys, and sharing findings and recommendations to cross-functional team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience - retail industry is a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and communicate effectively
