We are seeking a talented VP, Marketing to scale our brand and growth with new audiences through strategic leadership, disciplined & exceptional execution, and a track record of leading successful growth marketing teams in EdTech, D2C, or membership subscription space. In this role, you will work with cross-functional partners to drive new customer growth across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing team to drive lead generation growth and digital conversion improvements while maintaining marketing expenses in line with target CPL, CAC, digital conversion rates, revenue from digital conversions, and other marketing KPIs

• Work with leadership to set monthly marketing goals and execute with marketing team to meet or achieve goals

• Drive brand awareness through paid media, earned media, and partnerships, in consultation with our corporate PR/communications teams and our social team

• Own all aspects of our marketing website, website vendors, and design resources

• Provide mentorship to marketing team and prioritization of marketing initiatives to support lead growth, increasing LTV, and member retention

• Architect and manage a testing framework to radically increase lead generation volume and digital conversion across all self-purchase/self-enroll products

• Partner with Sales, Education, Community, Consulting Delivery, and Product/Engineering teams to provide insights on market response to our products; suggest changes to our products and programs based on market feedback

About You

• 15+ years experience in growth marketing

• Proven, multi-year track record of leading a high-performance marketing team at a growth-stage digital company

• In-depth expertise and demonstrated success operating and leading influencer, affiliate, brand, and partnership marketing campaigns • Demonstrated experience building, optimizing, and maintaining a brand’s marketing-focused web presence, including website

• Experience building and scaling marketing data infrastructure

• Strong writer and ability to review, edit, and approve copy based on the AP Stylebook or The Chicago Manual of Style

• Experience ideating/writing/producing creative copy and video as well as fluency to speak the language of video producers/editors

• Data-driven with extensive experience with incremental measurement, A/B testing, attribution models, and financial analytics

• Experience working with PR teams to generate earned media
