What You’ll Do
As the Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager, you’ll manage the creation of social media strategies, and the planning and execution of successful social media and influencer campaigns. You will be responsible for developing brand-elevating and customer-relevant storytelling that drives customer engagement, increases brand awareness and follower growth. You should have excellent multitasking skills, a creative way of thinking, brand understanding, and be comfortable presenting ideas and results across the organization.
This role will positively impact brand awareness and consumer perception to maximize the success and profitability of World Market.
- Oversee organic social channels for World Market including strategy, reporting, and execution.
- Develop content plans for each channel, work with the content team to request and possibly develop the correct content to execute ensuring a similar voice in the correct medium for each channel.
- Manage editorial calendar, drive the ideas and concepts of engagement, and set the overall tone and direction of the community.
- Develop metrics to measure business success.
- Analyze trends, sales, traffic and growth on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and share findings with department and cross functional partners.
- Work closely with content team on social specific imagery for various messaging and seasonal needs.
- Build a best in class influencer strategy by identifying brand right influencers and content needs.
- Provide real time PR at events, including tweeting, Instagram, etc.
- Own, conceptualize, coordinate, execute and fulfill social contests and giveaways.
- Monitor the landscape and advocate for social and digital trends internally, influencing the brand and business strategies.
- Manage weekly recap process tracking to growth and engagement goals, ensure that cross functional partners have deep understanding of performance.
- Point of contact for reps for social platforms, own relationship and stay on top of best practices and new features.
- Work in partnership with merchant team to take product concepts and expand upon into a clear and coherent set of customer-facing stories.
- Research and monitor competitors presence in the social space and compile weekly reporting on most engaging content.
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of the business side of social media.
- Retail Experience building a brand voice in Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Strategic thinking to expand the reach and impact of our social channels and influencers.
- Desire to stay on top of trends, develop a cohesive cross platform strategy and ability to pivot quickly as macro and internal trends change.
- Positive attitude and ability to connect and influence cross functionally.
