Digital Account Manager

The Digital Manager will provide support to the Account Management team by creating, contributing to, and maintaining a website that will host team initiatives, training, and other resources. The Digital Manager will extract and analyze data from websites, including social media and retailer Product Detail Pages (PDPs), to present to key stakeholders. The Digital Manager understands program operations and is a key driver in keeping those operations moving along efficiently and profitably while ensuring all stakeholders, internally and externally, understand project requirements, deliverables and status.
Essential Functions:
- Be the organizational center of projects – manage projects, problem solve, and lead flawless execution even when the path to executing deliverables is ambiguous and you are receiving input and direction from multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts at appropriate times to ensure consensus around scoping, project approach, etc.
- Successfully communicates and represents clients interests to the team (managing up and down).
- Proactively steward the development and communication of solutions to clients’ business problems, including facilitating the development of program briefs with senior account team, strategic planner, and analysts.
- Track account financials overall, including project budgets and scopes, assessing estimates to actuals, and recalibrating or escalating as necessary.
- Work within the Google Workspace to launch and maintain a program website that will host training content, team deliverables, playbooks, and resources
- Monitor pricing of devices across multiple retailer websites
- Complete PDP (product display page) audits for price & specs accuracy
- Conduct PDP analytics on competitor’s photos, videos, top features
- Provide analytical data on retailer site product reviews (rating, # of reviews and commonly mentioned items)
- Track social media engagements with manufacturer/retailer posts
- Tech blog product and announcement sentiments
- Capture online YouTube / Influencer sentiments
- Present insights to account management and/or stakeholders
- Proactively identifies the evolution of services and the development of new services.
- Contributes to identification and generation of business development opportunities with our stakeholders while playing a leading or supporting role in our response effort
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, PR, or related fields preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience required
- Experience building, executing and optimizing a content strategy, managing websites and digital campaigns
- Prior experience with writing script, web development, or programming a plus
- Expert knowledge and thought leadership regarding the social media landscape, digital trends and innovations, most popular platforms and trusted online marketing tools.
- Highly proficient organization skills
- Ability to process detailed information into clearly summarized / short-form content
- Fluency in social media and retail site navigation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong analytic approach or strategic methodology to interpreting data
- Ability to think and act strategically
- Demonstrates initiative in identifying and proposing enhanced ways to advance team and client interests.
- Operates with a high degree of independence but knows when to rely on own judgment and when to seek advice of supervisor and other team members.
- Able to develop first drafts of documents and presentations with minimal edits.
