Director, Influencer Partnerships
Basic Function: Develop Digital Influencer strategies to meet client objectives of driving awareness and sales through innovative influencer programs and campaigns that support the larger brand objectives. Work with PR Account Manager(s), Director(s), VP and President executing and facilitating overarching digital influencer strategy, and forging relevant partnerships for accessories, fashion, jewelry clients and lifestyle accounts. Oversee the Digital Media team to meet internal team needs, keep abreast of industry news and propose progressive online programs leveraging appropriate social platforms and talents for clients.
Essential duties: Serve as the influencer and social media expert within the agency
- Evaluate Krupp Group’s overall Digital business strategy and provide expertise on further developing and expanding the Digital services and offerings
- Cultivate Digital Influencer business growth opportunities among existing and prospective clients
- and contribute to new business pitches and proposals related to Digital Influencer offerings
- Develop and implement innovative digital influencer strategies to meet client objectives
- Create customized activation plans for clients that effectively engage online influencers
- Oversee on-going digital influencer gifting programs
- Oversee all paid influencer initiatives including the creation of decks for client approvals, identifying talent, negotiating rates, coordination of billing/invoicing with Finance Director and recap reports as needed with the support of the digital team
- Advise on social media strategy, and content planning for select clients when applicable
- Facilitate content creation for brands who need help in creating content for social media utilizing a network of industry professionals i.e models, photographers, stylists, creative director
- Support client’s social media advertising needs with boosting, targeted ads and whitelisting to amplify brand awareness opportunities
- Oversee development and distribution of measurement reports on a monthly or project, using social media and influencer platforms such as MightyScout and Launchmetrics
- Evaluate new platforms, technologies, apps and vendors for client opportunities
- Define the Krupp Group social presence and content strategy for agencies’ channels (Instagram)
- Oversee weekly Content Calendar and implement strategy
- Measure performance and optimize each channel interacting with the right media and personalities
- Contribute all pro-active measures to client monthly reports
- Oversee team in creating weekly engagement report and content calendar
- Explore ways to optimize each channel based on performance
- Interface with client executives daily as main point of contact regarding social media campaigns, content calendars and execution, influencer programming both paid and gifting
- Management of the Digital Media team: implement policies and oversee team member performance
Qualifications:
- B.A. 5+ years’ experience in digital strategy
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with client presentations
- Genuine interest in fashion, social media, influencers and digital trends
- Strong industry relationships
- A deep understanding of leading social media platforms with proven results. Exceptional communication, writing and proofreading skills
- Candidates must have had prior experience developing a brand's online communities and presence as well as executing digital media programs that are proven to drive engagement, impressions and sales
- Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee and foster growth among team members
- Ability to work on multiple projects in condensed timeframes
- Candidates should be forward thinkers with the ability to propose innovative out of the box strategies and solutions to meet client objectives
- Contract negotiations experience
