Key Responsibilities

Support all public relations efforts and manage press office tasks

  • Maintain and monitor master editorial tracking document, including all press requests, pitching, anticipated editorial, secured editorial and missed opportunities.
  • Send and pitch editorial baskets and new press kits invitations to pan-regional and local press upon PR & Events Manager’s approval.
  • Maintain and save well-organized database of HQ assets, press texts and brand communication tools across all categories including but not limited to press kits, images, preview boxes, information notes, etc.
  • Liaise with all key contacts for the logistics associated with photo shoots, including transport & security.
  • Daily liaison with press, to address press enquiries and requests.
  • Support in curating and executing unique PR events, treatment offerings, and experiences that promote brand launches & initiatives
  • Take on the planning and administrative handling of press trips for local and international press events (booking hotels, restaurants, entertainment, transfers)

Support the creation and animation of a Bold Talent Community in Latin America

  • Co-build with PR and Events Manager a strategy for activation of KOL leaders for the region throughout the year.
  • Assist in identifying, building and implementing collaborations and relationship lead activations that fit the Cartier brand.
  • Coordinate and arrange lunches and dinners in order to enhance network.
  • Organize influencers and celebrities’ trips, building full itinerary and following up to maximize coverage opportunities.

Track and report all editorial clippings, influencer activation results and Cartier’s performance vs. the competition

  • Accomplish annual goal for A.V.E. editorial return.
  • Elaborate and maintain editorial performance reporting in three ways:
  • Prepare monthly coverage report and the Real Time News report for HQ.
  • Knewnin Link Platform management and Power BI reporting of Press vs. Media Investment.
  • Compile fragrance editorial report.
  • Manage Traackr platform and create and analyze post-activation report for e-influencer campaigns.
  • Follow and inform internal teams of any press/image or influencer related initiatives from competitors and report them on a timely manner.

Support Internal Communications Actions :

  • Build regional editorial calendar with all topics to be communicated as well as activations throughout the year.
  • Create Internal Communication Activation Guidelines for the region.
  • Coordinate alongside Internal Communications leads in Brazil and Mexico, the execution of the Internal Communications Strategy.
  • Write articles for Connect about local events, local news as well as actively communicate on Yammer.
  • Orchestrate specific activations on Yammer and Connect at a regional level. Champion and follow-up on employee participation on these platforms.
  • Contribute to MyAtlas.
  • Lead the creation and monthly organization of the Regional Digest.
  • Help monitor the Maison’s internal platforms and their strategic development (Yammer, Connect, MyAtlas).
  • Coordinate the President Live and MBR Internal Meetings for LAC.
  • Distribute the important information locally and write executives local communications
  • Organize and support the creation and execution of digital and physical events including team buildings.
  • Champion the Corporate and Social Responsibility strategy for the brand; aid in defining specific local strategies and implementing activations around CSR
  • Be responsible for updating and maintaining tools that support the delivery of communications activities, including calendars and templates.

Serve as a key liaison for the organization of the team’s administrative tasks

  • Create presentations to illustrate team initiatives.
  • Update, and maintain press, e-influencer, and industry contacts database, ensuring accurate records for internal reporting tools.
  • Organizes all shipping including local messengers; ensures that shipments executed at a high standard and paperwork is prepared correctly.
  • Monitor, process and stay within budget allocated for press, KOL and Internal Communications Actions, track the financial evolution and when there are changes in the scopes, provide updates in an accurate manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree required. Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.\
  • Required experience
    • 4-5 years’ experience in a similar position within a corporate office environment
    • Previous experience in Internal Communications a plus.
  • Technical skills / abilities
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. French and Portuguese a plus

    • Exceptional writing skills, outstanding oral communications with the ability to represent the brand.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle both internal, transversal and external stakeholders (staff, partners, and press)
    • Superior planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to multi-task.
    • Pro-active and dynamic. Highly self-motivated with sharp attention to detail and strong focus on execution & rigorous implementation.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle both internal, transversal and external stakeholders (staff, partners, and press)
    • Great aesthetic and understanding of the luxury world.
    • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours and weekends as needed
    • Available to travel as needed
