Position Summary

The Director of Social Media will build a team to drive all U.S. social platforms i.e., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest. The Director of Social Media will finding creative ways to activate on social. This team is the company’s resource for pop culture, trends, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Source new emerging social platforms and foster new innovative ideas
  • Ensure timely response to comments across all social accounts for better engagement.
  • Work closely with PR team to respond to negative comments and in crisis situations.
  • Continue to grow TikTok and Instagram followers.
  • Lead the team in monthly social activation brainstorms.
  • Oversee influencer agency relationships.
  • Develop strategies to acquire a new customer demographic (Millennials and Gen Z).
  • Create & manage U.S. social media budget.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 7 plus years of consumer brand experience and or Media Creative agency expertise.
  • An ideal candidates will have a personal rolodex of influencer talent and an eye for new upcoming talent.
  • Have a proven track record of building small accounts from thousands to making them millions +.
  • Must be an Instagram/TikTok expert.
  • 4-5 years of management or supervisory experience with strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation, and intuition.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time.
