OVERVIEW
The Coordinator, VIP Talent Relations & Marketing will support the Sr. Manager, VIP Talent Relations & Marketing in strategic development, creation, management & execution of all Alo VIP/talent strategy across partnerships, media, marketing, programming & experiential. As a primary point of contact between both internal and external partners, the coordinator ensures that talent helps to achieve key business objectives while aligning with Alo’s core brand values and mission. The position will assist in the development of talent strategies that drive consumer awareness, affinity and inspire new/existing audiences.
Key within this role is to help manage a deep network of talents across culture, lifestyle, wellness, fitness, design, music and innovation.
The role will build brand equity and awareness of Alo, its products and stories focused on building initiatives that cultivate a deep sense of community and engagement with Alo, and its affiliated subsidiaries (including, but not limited to Alo Yoga, Alo Beauty & Wellness, Alo Moves, Alo Gives). This process includes but is not limited to coordination across casting, vetting, negotiating, executing talent activations and partnerships, seeding, and wardrobing.
This position is responsible for providing a wide range of assistance across complex integrated talent projects, experiences, and campaigns within the Global Brand Marketing team. This opportunity is based in Los Angeles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the development and execution of global talent strategy.
- Help establish talent priorities, plans, concepts and processes across a range of Alo marketing initiatives consistent with business objectives and brand values.
- Maintain and build talent network to leverage across all brand and business line plans identifying new talent and fostering positive relationships.
- Help ensure talent alignment across internal teams.
- Assist in talent product placement, through both organic seeding strategies and social media campaigns managing talent dressing and gifting.
- Help the creation and execution of talent programming that fuels consumer awareness, demand & engagement.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to create the most effective VIP/talent plans.
- Manage the organization of a VIP/talent calendar, tracking and reporting across all activity and placements.
- Continually research competitive intelligence within the fashion, entertainment, and talent industries.
- Assist in talent invoicing,
- Create inspiration internally and externally for the talent & influence marketing function.
- Strong passion for Alo and its mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Talent Management, Influencer Marketing, PR, digital platforms & entertainment/cultural marketing.
- Interest in developing cross-channel campaigns and programs with talent partners in culture, lifestyle, fashion, retail, entertainment and/or related fields.
- Demonstrated passion to manage complex campaigns and projects and put content in front of consumers.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and writing skills
- Entrepreneurial, strategic, and detail-oriented thinker!
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.

- Be in the know – stay current on fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, culture, art, music and design trends.
- Live the function – have a strong POV on entertainment, media, digital platforms and commerce, and latest trends.
- Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects.
- Must be motivated, flexible, poised, and adaptable in rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
- Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.
- A strong aesthetic sensibility and exposure to/understanding of fashion and marketing.
- Resourceful, highly motivated project manager.
