Sr Marketing Mgr, Acquisition, TMT – Creator Growth
Job Summary
DESCRIPTION
The Traffic and Marketing Tech (TMT) Creator Growth team’s goal is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce influencers and their content. We are seeking an experienced marketing manager to help manage media planning activities within our acquisition function. The person in this role will explore and manage new forms of multimedia (“Connected TV, Podcast & Streaming Audio, Gamification, Digital Media, Social Media, and other acquisition channels). This includes, managing and executing against diverse media strategies, conducting media research to help identify GAPs and present opportunities that support acquisition goals (“e.g. increasing influencer sign-ups”). You will also be responsible for setting media benchmarks, contributing to KPI goals, optimizing campaigns, reporting performance results, and working cross-functionally with internal marketers, corporate stakeholders, and third-party agency vendors.
We are looking for a results-driven performance marketer with a strong record of managing global acquisition campaigns and ability to execute against marketing deliverables. Keys to success are an ability to meet targeted acquisition goals, assess and prioritize planning opportunities, establish campaign benchmarks, optimize campaign performance, execute quickly on ongoing acquisition marketing/media initiatives, analyze the impact of each acquisition channel, and continually find ways to help scale the number of quality influencers in our program.
Key job responsibilities
- Managing global acquisition campaigns across multiple media channels (CTV, Podcast & Streaming Audio, Digital Media, Social Media, Programmatic, and other Acquisition channels)
- Conducting market research and/or media research to identify new acquisition channel opportunities and leverage insights to build acquisition strategies/plans
- Optimizing acquisition campaigns to help increase sign-up growth
- Stay current on media trends, identify emerging media/marketing/technology partners for experimental opportunities with Creator Growth
- Develop business cases to support new media planning recommendations, targeting, tactics, budget recommendations
- Establish media benchmarks and planning goals that align with Creator Growth Influencer business goals
- Responsible for campaign reporting and tracking full-funnel metrics
- Partner with cross-functional/agency team (e.g. Creative, Marketing, Engagement, Events etc.) on acquisition marketing request
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in budget management, vendor management, or consulting
- 5+ years of experience working both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
- 5+ years of a proven track of record of building and optimizing integrated marketing and global media campaigns
- 5+ years of analytical experience including converting raw data into actionable insights and recommendations
- 5 + years of demonstrated experience to work effectively across business and marketing teams to deliver results
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree Marketing, Advertising, Media, Communications or a similar field
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and launching new programs
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $142,800-193,200/yr. Our range of benefits may include health care, employee discounts, 401(k) savings plans, paid time off, and more.
