Purpose
To serve as the expert on social media platforms and strategy.
Scope
Responsible for the ideation and creation of compelling content for all social media channels. As a global organization, off-hour monitoring is expected as we value responsiveness across our online community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the marketing team to create content campaigns that align with marketing objectives and organizational goals, including content creation, lead generation, sales, renewal, development and MOMcon.
- Evolve the social media of the brands and continue to hone in on the brand to create styles that become iconic.
- Curate and create content to fill social media channels (video, photos, images, copy).
- Regularly produce captivating content for moms that positions MOPS as experts in motherhood.
- Stay abreast of trends in mom culture by analyzing content performance and content research.
- Adjust writing to fit mom, MOPS Leader, and church audiences as needed.
- Create copy that is clear, succinct, and prompts readers to act in accordance with campaign objectives.
- Ensure all copy and social media is world-class and meets brand and marketing requirements.
- Lead all social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
- Expand social media to TikTok.
- Help to create cohesive organizational messaging with all teams.
- Research and analyze social media trends and social media campaign performance.
- Manages social community engagements, ManyChat and influencer relationships.
- Social media content optimization and fact-checking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in creating social media content.
- 4+ years in copywriting, design or production.
- Strong creative vision, both visually and with words.
- Online community management experience.
- Hungry, humble, smart.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-minded.
- Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MOPS Faith and Values Statement.
- Proactive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Organized & detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Proficient in Later or Hootsuite, Creative Cloud, Canva, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
The Social Media Manager position is a non-exempt full-time 30-40 hr./wk. Remote (Denver-based preferred). Pay Rate between $18-$20/Hour.
