Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty is a new skincare line, launched in June 2022, created by Dr. Bowe—one of the most in-demand, board-certified dermatologists in the country. With a capped medical practice and community of 482K+ Followers across social—6.6M Likes on TikTok alone—Dr. Bowe has built an engaged off-and online community of skincare enthusiasts. DWB Beauty is looking for an experienced team member to build and drive our Influencer Marketing program. The ideal candidate has led Influencer Marketing programs before, and can bounce between high-level strategic thinking, and “roll-up-your-sleeves” execution. They are deeply entrenched in social media, and have strong existing relationships with Influencers. This role reports to the VP of Brand Marketing, and will also work closely with our Founder and CEO. This is a remote position that will require some travel for in-person activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own our Influencer Marketing program across tiers to drive referral traffic and brand awareness; establish strategies and performance goals for product launches, paid, seeding, replenishment, and content creator programs; build SOPs and key documents to set the department up for success
- Cultivate a deep sense of community between Influencers and the brand, going the extra mile to discover and nurture relationships. Consistently ask for, and integrate their feedback; follow and engage with them on social media—monitoring influencer relationship on social channels, managing DMs, emails, and other direct communication daily; keep them in-the-loop on DWB Beauty
- Manage all sourcing, pitching, and negotiating of Influencer partnerships
- Track performance, reporting monthly on KPIs; ensure key team members have visibility on department initiatives and outcomes
- Build robust go-to-market Influencer Strategies to support new product drops
- Concept and execute influencer events and activations, including opportunities for our Founder and CEO to make guest appearances on influencer-led channels and shows
- Support in structuring and executing deals for paid contracts of varying sizes, from nano to mega / celebrity
- Manage the department budget
- Partner with the Social Media & Content Director to brief, review, and share UGC for paid and organic use; collaborate on community management of social media channels
- Partner with Operations to manage product sends
- Capture and communicate brand look, values, and mission with consistency across partnerships
- Stay up-to-date on trends and tools for Influencer Marketing, suggesting new ways to innovate our approach while keeping the team up-to-date on best practices
- Play a key part of fostering an environment of collaboration, inclusivity, curiosity, and creativity across teams
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of influencer marketing with beauty and/or DTC experience—skincare experience is a big plus
- Deep understanding of social media space and emerging trends across platforms
- Impeccable interpersonal skills with a love for building deep one-on-one relationships, and creating a warm community
- Comfort in working with upper management
- Expert in gathering, analyzing, and acting on data insights
- Strong organization, project management, and negotiation skills
- Existing influencer relationships in skincare / beauty space
- Enthusiastic about the chance to build an Influencer Marketing program from the ground up
- Entrepreneurial, “no task is too small” spirit
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment
- Entrenched in and passionate about social media, skincare, health, and wellness
