Position Summary

The Senior Social Media Specialist is responsible for owning the organic channel and content for major NUSA brands. The Sr. Specialist is responsible for driving brand voice across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and more by engaging with consumers on social media and achieving customer centricity. The role is responsible for finding creative ways to interject brands into conversations with consumers at the brand and category level to drive strategic value to the brand’s overall reputation, posting content real time across our active organic social media channels for major brands, and is accountable to deliver real-time insights to brands through social listening to impact overall brand communication plans through quarterly reporting. The role will drive the strategic approach to social communication by owning the editorial calendar, writing of all social copy and partnering with media buying agency to ensure assets are properly posted.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with social strategy to execute the organic channel and content strategy for appropriate brands on organic social
  • Integrating brands into relevant social conversations and create culturally relevant and on-brand content for organic social
  • Maintain organic and paid social media calendars and actively plan, schedule and publish content
  • Write all paid and organic copy for all major social media platforms
  • Monitor category conversations for opportunities to interject the brand into relevant conversations
  • Engage real-time with consumers who interact with brand social channels in positive conversations
  • Partner with key stakeholders in social strategy, influencer/creator, experiential, PR, and agencies to plan for organic content needs
  • Collaborate with Influencer Marketing on identifying influencers who organically engage with the brand that would be a good fit for brand programs and partnerships
  • Coordinate Influencer Marketing campaigns in collaboration with influencer marketing manager and influencer marketing agency
  • Identify key active consumers and fans to strategically execute surprise and delight opportunities to build relationships with consumers on social media
  • Actively follow key competitors in order to provide updates to brands
  • Deliver quarterly reports and present to key stakeholders: informing brand of overall social engagement highlights and measuring performance based on key KPIs to generate key insights and organic content recommendations
  • Own partnership with Consumer Engagement Services team for each brand
  • Moderate and manage crisis in collaboration with Consumer Engagement Services and corporate communications

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and oral
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years experience in social media management representing a brand or organization
  • Exceptional understanding of the social media landscape, best practices, and social analytics tools and metrics
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating and working successfully with multiple stakeholders and teams
  • High level of proficiency with the following tools: Canva Pro design, IG reels video editing, TikTok video editing

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience using Sprinklr social listening and publishing
  • CPG Experience
  • Adobe photoshop and other video editing software
