Prime Video is looking for a Senior Influencer Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This person will be part of a dedicated group within Prime Video Marketing that maintains relationships with influencers and fans of our series, films and brand. The team works collaboratively with Marketing, PR, Social, Media, Promotions, Events and Partnerships to increase engagement and reach. Content & Pop-Culture Junkies at heart, we passionately believe that the best stories empower people and drive meaningful conversation. This role will provide continuity as global content marketing campaigns are developed, act as a center of excellence for regional insights and a connection point for regional markets to access the toolkits of influencer campaigns and assets.

A successful candidate has worked with influencers, senior executives and talent of all different styles and motivations. You are fluent in social marketing best practices and know how to collaborate with internal and external partners. The candidate will work with our social marketing teams around the world to be our point of contact on regional consumer behavior, including local consumer behaviors, entertainment landscape, media consumption patterns, local product and the customer journey. Success will be measured by the performance of global tentpole series and movies in-market.

The ideal candidate will have managed global marketing campaigns either in a home office or in-market capacity (preferably in the entertainment space) and has experience with influencer marketing and social platforms. They will have a track record of choosing the right marketing levers within the marketing mix to effectively meet campaign goals. The right candidate will be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Amazon, including regional business leads, content marketers, campaign management and channel leads. This person must have strong verbal communications skills, the ability to influence others using data, a passion for insights-driven marketing, demonstrated success working with international constituents and capacity for strong cross-functional leadership. You will be responsible for working planning, creating, iterating and distributing bespoke editorial content in various formats through social media platforms. You will understand how to bridge quantitative inputs (the science) with the qualitative characteristics of content, creators and talent (the art), and you will be expected to use those skills to make informed decisions and engage influencers in our marketing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with talent, influencers and Prime Video internal teams to create impactful campaigns that drives social conversation.
  • Collaborate with regional markets to build global influencer campaigns leveraging various social platforms and media.
  • Influence tentpole campaign strategy and asset development to ensure maximum regional impact.
  • Identify regional considerations as dating and localization strategies are developed.
  • Maintain expertise in regional media landscapes, category dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Ensure regions are connected with toolkit of strategies and assets created by central content marketing teams.
  • Establish scalable mechanisms with regions to surface any blockers to successful tentpole launches and identify opportunities for improved process.

Input into business planning and review documents as required.

  • Monitor campaign performance, document regional insights and learnings and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise and be resident expert on global influencer initiatives including local creators, trends and best practices.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to influence successful, measurable marketing ideas, and plans in order to drive Amazon Originals awareness, while integrating influencer participation in our marketing, advertising, owned and operated channels and events.
  • Develop KPI’s and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of entertainment experience in a talent agency, marketing agency, studio, PR agency, TV network or production setting.
  • Experience successfully integrating talent into marketing programs; a portfolio of work that shows your ability to help drive breakthrough talent integration in social and promotional campaigns.
  • Experience elevating brands and building strong entertainment industry credibility with actors, directors, producers and Studios.
  • Experience building effective marketing plans and entertainment product launch strategies.
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities in entertainment and bringing those opportunities to a successful close.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a metric-based performance environment, where you demonstrated your ability to problem solve through a combination of art (creative ideas) and science (measurable outcomes).
  • Tech savvy; up on the latest changes in streaming technology and competitive landscape as well as experience working with digital subscription media services.
  • Demonstrated track record of working in a matrixed organization, where leading by influencing is a key characteristic of your success.
  • A strong Rolodex of talent contacts that will support your candidacy; you have worked directly and successfully with A-List talent and have relationships with influential talent representatives
  • A track record of problem-solving key strategic business challenges in the entertainment industry with breakthrough creative solutions.
  • An innovative approach to developing and achieving key success metrics and demonstrated ability to influence successful outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
