Senior Social Media Strategist
Role Summary
Battenhall U.S. is looking for an organized, motivated, and energetic Sr. Social Media Strategist who is an expert on all things branding for social, stays on top of the latest trends, and has a wealth of experience coming up with winning social strategies, ideas, content streams, and results-driven campaigns.
This individual will have a tremendous tactical vision to chart the course for all aspects of our client's digital and social needs. This would be a freelance role, starting with designated projects serving some of our most important clients. Our ideal candidate understands and enjoys all things social media-related, mainly but not limited to B2B focus. Working tirelessly to develop solutions on strategy, content creation & scheduling, community engagement, and analytics. You’re confident in your abilities and love learning. You love challenges, collaboration, and creating killer social for brands with a strong presence and those on the way up.

Responsibilities
As part of the client services team, our social strategist is expected to interact and manage communications with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure all are informed on various projects and social media campaigns while bringing new and innovative social initiatives to life. Our ideal Strategist is obsessed with growth across platforms, generating new ideas, and understands the intersection of culture and brand storytelling.
Reporting to a U.S. Account Director as your line manager daily, you will be expected to:
- Develop robust social media strategies for a variety of clients, including both B2B and D2C brands
- Create persuasive client presentations for social strategy, plans, and content streams
- Collaborate on the development of social media content and content calendars, ensuring proper understanding and communication of clients’ brand voice
- Develop influencer marketing strategies, identify appropriate influencers with partners, pitch campaigns to clients, set influencer KPIs, and track progress/metricsWork with the client services team to execute social media campaigns across multiple social platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Podcasts while advising on content selection, messaging, and other mediums when relevant.
- Conduct social media audits, including competitive analysis
- Proposing tactics to grow and engage online communities through content, social listening, and interactions.
- Executing social media calendars that align with a brand’s content calendar and marketing/collection launch campaigns, building on critical themes of the marketing strategy, and working with department members on a proper plan for content distribution.
- Producing and executing client decks, showcasing desired tactics to meet clients' desires and challenges while including critical storytelling components.
- Report on content analytics and metrics by marketing funnel stage that map back to departmental goals. Integrate trends and category data to identify insights that can improve strategy and execution.
Skills and qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/social media/content marketing
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in B2B & D2C marketing, ideally with employer branding campaigns and digital technologies.
- Social media campaign planning, including working on brand campaigns
- Experience working with multiple Social Media tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
- Must have knowledge and understanding of social listening and executing paid social media campaigns
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience managing marketing programs and writing business-facing content
