ABOUT US

Mezcla is a plant-based snack brand based in NYC. Our goal is to disrupt legacy snack brands with plant-based alternatives (think: rice crispy, pop-tart, etc). Two years in, Mezcla has won over tens of thousands of consumers, earned features in Forbes, NY Post and E! News, and is carried in retail stores nationwide from small independents to Whole Foods. We have amazing investors backing us, including Dream Ventures and the founders of MVMT, Koia, and Dream Pops.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Support Griffin Spolansky (Co-Founder / CEO) and Yoga Acharya (Chief of Staff) across all marketing channels and special projects.

Marketing

  • Manage omni-channel customer digital content, assets, and product information across social (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter)
  • Assist in managing paid search campaigns from end-to-end—keyword research, planning, strategy, execution, analysis, and optimization
  • Systemize analytical processes and track KPIs
  • Develop and execute email, SMS, social media, IRL activations and influencer marketing strategies
  • Build and manage robust affiliate/ambassador program to further leverage brand enthusiasts
  • Maintain weekly influencer gifting and tracking
  • Build relationships with like-minded brands to facilitate brand partnerships such as cross-promotional email campaigns and giveaways
  • Write and distribute weekly emails (both promotional and informational)
  • Manage creative team to ensure we have all the necessary assets at our disposal
  • Build relationships with journalists covering the F&B ecosystem to increase organic PR content
  • Engage and manage brand partnerships to increase Mezcla’s reach and get our bars in more hands
  • Partner with 3rd party agencies

Special Projects

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with our retail partners by working closely with our brokers
  • Set the calendar for when we go on promo with each retailer
  • Track merchandising platform to ensure we’re staying in stock and driving optimal placements
  • Manage demo partners, logistics and spend
  • Complete new vendor forms for prospective retail partners
  • Place and track merchandise orders
  • Keep our store finder / running list of where customers can buy our product up to date
  • Handle customer service through Gorgias, an aggregation tool enabling 1:1 interaction across email, Facebook and Instagram
  • Optimize DTC membership growth and retention through Retextion
