About Humble Bundle:
Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $200 million for charity and counting.
Position Intro:
The Senior Manager of Community Development will serve as a key driver of community excellence across Humble Bundle and Humble Games. This person will be responsible for diverse contributions across multiple community functions including social media strategy, influencer strategy, community development, and channel strategy. As a member of a small community team, this individual will need to balance the development of new innovations to drive our capabilities forward while also contributing to the execution of our ongoing campaigns and programs. Similarly, this person will make a significant impact on Humble’s charity and social impact work and determine integration points for charitable inclusion in all aspects of their work. The ideal candidate has existing experience as a community development leader and a strong drive to contribute to the betterment of the gaming community. This position will report to the Director of Community Development and serve as a close strategic partner.

Responsibilities:
- Community Development
- Create opportunities for growth and engagement within our owned communities, with a focus on Discord
- Work with our Humble Games development partners and internal marketing teams to develop impactful communities that drive measurable success for our games
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies for Humble Games releases
- Propose programs that will foster a closer and more integrated community across Humble Bundle and Humble Games
- Social Media Strategy
- Drive innovation in our social media strategy and execution
- Develop growth strategies for key strategic platforms for Humble, including YouTube and TikTok
- Assist in the development of a sustainable creative development and execution structure through the use of internal resources, contractors, and/or agencies
- As needed, assist with the execution of social media posts and campaigns
- Lead performance and improvement analytics for our social channels
- Influencer Marketing
- Contribute to ongoing influencer relationship development
- Assist with the growth and management of partner content creators, with a focus on recruitment of content creators and facilitating their success
- Assist with influencer campaigns for Humble Games releases with a focus on identifying appropriate streamers and YouTubers
- Charitable Integration
- Propose and implement programs that will integrate influencers with our charitable fundraising campaigns
- Propose large-scale charitable campaigns around major fundraising events such as Giving Tuesday
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in a professional role related to video game community development, social media, marketing, or similar
- Direct experience working at an independent games publisher is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines including marketing, business development, customer service, etc.
- Deep understanding of the modern video game industry, especially the indie game scene
- Ability and motivation to develop close professional relationships with creator partners
- Genuine passion for making the gaming space more positive and inclusive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Existing network of streamers and YouTubers is a plus
- Knowledge of digital book communities and digital software is a plus
- Experience with online charitable fundraising with platforms like Tiltify is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
