Responsibilities
- Manage 10-20 individuals, including 2-3 direct reports, ranging from entry-level to experienced employees.
- Be an industry and category expert by knowing creator, strategies, and pricing nuances.
- Review, revise, and approve new campaign pricing/strategy above $500k - $1M.
- Have a detailed knowledge of the campaigns and assignments team members are responsible for, being able to give updates at a moment’s notice (signed, committed, X/X KPIs, margin, red flags, etc.), and be an escalation point when needed.
- Develop cross-functional relationships with counterparts to ensure trust is being built for the team.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to develop skills, improve on weaknesses, set and fulfill goals, and prepare for growth and advancement.
- Work across teams (CS, CD, Performance, Strategy, Product, Ai, etc.) to innovate and best serve our clients.
- Manage team’s resources, ensuring that each team is delivering against goals, and supporting overall team targets.
- Ensure that BEN values, Leadership Principles, and execution SOPs are followed to the highest standard across all teams and self.
- Continually improve overall team performance as measured by KPIs, organizational development, and employee morale.
- Contribute to the hiring and onboarding process for the campaign team and be the key trainer for new members of the team.
- Model of grit and resilience for the team, working to keep spirits high and minds focused, even in the face of the most difficult circumstances.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5-7 years of sales experience with a focus on prospecting and client acquisition, preferably for an Entertainment-related venture or marketing agency
- Experience working in the Influencer marketing space highly preferred
- Contacts within the marketing organizations of major brands – ideally related to strategic and entertainment marketing initiatives – as well as with the agencies that service these brands
- Demonstrated track record developing and maintaining relationships with multiple divisions and company leaders to ensure appropriate communications and a coordinated approach to maximizing successes with clients
- Proven success to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Strong creative sales strategist, with prior success with development and execution of business plans for complex client organizations
- Demonstrated capability of self-direction and motivation
- Passionate problem solver who is invigorated by client challenges
- BA / BS degree is required, MBA preferred
