Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced vegan educator, social media specialist, and fluent English/Hindi speaker to join our team as Campaign Manager for India.
The Campaign Manager will oversee nationwide vegan campaigns, manage social media channels, generate content, and direct activities for this region. They will also help formulate data-driven strategies, produce educational films, draft blogs and press releases, and identify opportunities to advocate veganism - including mainstream media opportunities.
They will be expected to build partnerships with associated organizations and activists, develop relationships with influential individuals, grow the GenV brand, and act as our brand ambassador within their native country.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing a Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Channel, and growing our online audience.
- Developing content for those channels with the support of our Communications, Graphic Design and Video Teams.
- Using data-insights to develop video and post ideas with strong conversion potential.
- Sharing creative content ideas and strategies with the team.
- Producing 1 - 4 original films for social media every 4-6 weeks.
- Generating mainstream media interest through influencer collaborations, expose-style content, and events.
- Work to garner mainstream media coverage.
- Developing content-sharing partnerships with other AR organizations.
- Developing video content in collaboration with influencers willing to feature in/promote content.
- Providing a publishing platform for other talented vegan content creators.
- Managing a budget and tracking ROI.
- Vegan research and trend-tracking.
- Translation work (English - Hindi)
- Giving talks or interviews on behalf of GenV.
Required skills and experience:
- Fluency in English and a strong understanding of Hindi.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent social media management skills.
- Highly organised, team player.
- Ability to manage budgets.
- Ability to direct and coordinate events, such as on-site filming.
- Strong contacts within the vegan movement.
- Excellent knowledge of veganism and experience of working within the AR movement.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
- Ability to take initiative, and to represent GenV in a confident and professional manner.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience of working alongside filmmakers, editors, and on-camera talent.
- Experience of working with influencers.
- Experience of remote working softwares (Basecamp, Trello, Slack, or similar)
- Basic graphic-design software experience (Canva, Ai or similar)
Remuneration range: 80,000 - 100,000 INR
Must be based in India.
