Job Purpose/Summary
The Social Media Content Creator of The Just One Project is responsible for assisting the Brand Marketing Manager in delivering social media marketing strategies, marketing communications, and branding, both externally and internally. Assists in the efforts of the marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Marketing
- Maintain a positive social media presence on the following platforms (not limited to): Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
- Collect and organize the content of volunteers, clients, staff, and all events the in-office and off-site
- Plan strategic social media posts and paid ads with curated content
- Communicate and engage with social media audience via direct message, comments, etc. by answering questions and maintaining digital relationships/presence
- Run campaign insights for analysis
- Monitor Google & Yelp reviews
- Stays up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices
- Maintains influencer relationships
- Maintain brand image and voice
- Attend one ‘Pop Up & Give’ event per month unless otherwise specified
Special Projects
- Oversee or participate in special projects as assigned by Executive Leadership
Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications include:
- Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, or related field strongly preferred
- 1 years of Marketing Experience (required)
- 1 year of Non- Profit Experience (preferred)
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Proficient Graphic Design Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Demonstrate values consistent with the stated mission and culture of The Just One Project
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to include preparing clear and concise reports
- Knowledge of community services and organizations
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
- Knowledge of socio-economic problems of the target population and community
- Must possess valid unrestricted Nevada driver’s license
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft based applications (excel, word)
- Knowledge of Google based applications (docs, drive, email)
- Knowledge of Salesforce databases is a plus
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, talk or hear continually. Ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull regularly and for extended periods of time. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly. Must be able to lift, push, pull, etc. efficiently and on a regular basis. Ability to work in fast paced active environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequently exposed to various controlled and uncontrolled weather conditions
