About the Job: Sort of like an agency but more like an all-star team, Farrynheight is a new age brand strategy and marketing agency built to support founders at 30,000 and 100 feet. We’re a powerhouse team of brand marketers, creatives, and leaders who helped raise brands such as Michael Kors, Sweetgreen, Reformation, Lola, Away, Ritual, and Bonobos. We sit at the intersection of an in-house team and creative agency, taking a human-first, mobile and global approach to building brands, and operationalizing them.

This Role: We’re continuously looking to hire the best out-of-the-box thinkers and driven storytellers for our team. We’re on the hunt for a strong social media manager who’s ready to hit the ground running and revels in all things social. Working directly with our social and marketing team, you will assist on how our brand, marketing and social strategies come to life.

In this role, you will join an ambitious, talented, and values-driven team of marketers and creatives, to deliver work across our three core functions:

  • Social Wizard: You are a genius at what you do and share it with our team everyday. From Tiktok to new algo changes, you’re one step ahead and social-obsessed.
  • Social Strategy: Support on the overall strategy and unique approach to build thoughtful and impactful brands.
  • Social Creation: In partnership with our creative team, lead and help implement strategy across brand social creative.
  • Social Execution: In partnership with our marketing team, bring our social strategies to life across brand social channels.

You Will:

  • Build: Be an integral part of the social team at FH. A social media manager who is responsible for driving relationships with our founders and teams. You are our clients’ thought partner, support system and generally, the expert in the room on all things social and content.
  • Create: Market, design and help create strategies, social assets/content and bring brands to life. Here, we do the work, not just lead it. You have a keen sensibility for brand aesthetic with a social first creative perspective and actively support the creative process. Contribute to the planning (social calendars), execution, monitoring, and reporting of a client’s social accounts. You guide our clients, advising on how social and creative can impact their businesses.
  • Lead: Assist and guide social team members at FH, providing your POV, mentorship, and creativity to everything we do. Operate as the social expert for your dedicated clients, thinking critically across all areas to provide value & support outside of your scope + deliverables.
  • Connect: You know the importance of social community engagement and have a proven track record for building relationships across moderating posts and being an expert on who our client’s community is. Develop and manage relationships with both influencers and content creators. Connect our founders to key talent, scouting out the best of creatives in the industry. Ideate and execute on engaging content, working with key members of our FH network of creatives.
  • Report: Set the benchmarks, KPI’s or social metrics across all agency clients, measuring the impact of social media efforts and understanding a client’s competitive landscape. You know how to storytell when it comes to showing results and sharing our impact both internally and externally.

You Are:

  • You are constantly watching trends, pushing boundaries and strategizing unique ways to grow in such a crowded space.
  • You have brand account management experience on Instagram, and are fully immersed on TikTok - always on top of the content landscape and thinking about how to innovate for clients.
  • You’re invigorated by the startup space and passionate about social, brand, and marketing. You have a sense of humor and thrive in an extremely collaborative and fast-moving environment.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to thoughtfully prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are both creative and strategic, blending the two across your day-to-day.
  • You can effectively build trusting relationships with both clients and colleagues. You’ll gain respect from founders and be viewed as a strategic expert and adviser- ultimately helping clients feel comfortable to take creative risks.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in the social space with a solid understanding of building brands
  • Well-versed in social media metrics, platforms and tools
  • Experience managing and leading teams of social and creative to deliver exceptional and impactful work
  • Determined, strategic thinker who can balance multiple projects, brands, and teams at any given time with clarity and conviction
  • Understanding of influencer marketing
  • Desire to build a world-class brand team, raising brands, our unique values-driven way
  • Excited by consumer brands across categories - from lifestyle to CPG, technology platforms to fashion
  • A curious, entrepreneurial and impact-driven mindset
  • Effective communication skills and a natural style of building relationships
