Business Development Lead

**The Job Overview**
Our Business Development Leads are responsible for securing, setting, and participating in new client meetings with our partners. Specifically, Business Development Leads will be responsible for identifying potential clients based on criteria we provide to you, emailing those clients and connecting with them on LinkedIn, and ultimately scheduling and joining in on Zoom meetings between potential clients and our team. If you enjoy learning about high-impact startups, engaging with startup founders, and are interested in high-ticket sales, this is an ideal position for you. This position is fully remote and has some flexibility over hours (must be available for client meetings).
**Responsibilities**
Below are some of the responsibilities a Business Development Lead is expected to assume:
* Source prospective clients based on specific criteria we provide to you
* Ensure prospective clients have a positive experience with Morpheus
* Take the initiative to learn about each prospective client and their company
* Email prospective clients and connect with them on LinkedIn
* Field basic questions from prospective clients about Morpheus and our offerings
* Use Monday.com and Google Sheets to manage various aspects of the job
* Demonstrate a pleasant disposition with each prospect
* Properly explain our offerings to prospective customers when making appointments
* Participate in client meetings, along with our partners
* Complete required dashboard updates at the end of each week (number of clients reached out to, number of clients responded, number of appointments set, etc.)
**Job Qualifications and Skill Sets**
Below are the qualifications and skills that are expected of a Business Development Lead:
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Monday.com and Google Sheets, or willingness to learn quickly
* Ability to multitask
* Ability to secure 20+ appointments/month (typically requires reaching out to 20+ clients per working day, Monday-Friday)
* A positive attitude
* Excellent organizational skills
* Fluency or strong proficiency with the English language
**Compensation**
Our Business Development Leads typically earn between $2,500 to $5,000 per closed deal, though there is a strong possibility for even more. We close approximately 1 in 4 warm potential clients. Our aim is to close two projects per week. At one project closed per week you’d earn $10,000 to $20,000 per month. At two projects closed per week, you’d earn $20,000 to $40,000 per month. In the coming 3-6 months, our average contract value, and thereby your earnings potential, will most likely increase.
