Midnight Sunday is a hospitality-based boutique social media agency with clients worldwide. We provide social
media design solutions to various hotels and resorts, each unique in its visual offering.
THE POSITION:
We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to manage the social media messages, requests, and
comments on a series of hotel Instagram and Facebook accounts worldwide. The role will also include some light
influencer management and some light reporting. Your social media and design skills, understanding of luxury
travel, and ability to multitask are critical to succeeding in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Everyone on our team has a part to play in crafting a perfect narrative for our hotel clients. We are looking for
someone to join our team with high-level attention to detail and who is determined to take a proactive approach in
maintaining messaging, liking, and communicating on all social media platforms. As an agency, we strive to provide
unique, customer-centric messaging that embraces each hotel we work with and that showcases our skill for
storytelling. It is an expectation of this role that the same professionalism is communicated in our guest and fan
communications.
• Part-Time role to start, with an opportunity for Full-Time (within one months). Hours can be full days or
more flexible depending on the successful applicant - working full days or two shifts each day, weekdays or
weekends. Ideally, to begin 5 hours per day, five days per week.
• Client-facing communications with email and phone for urgent issues
• Daily checking of hotel feeds and community management across six platforms (TT, IG, FB, TW, LI, YT)
• Liking of posts and messages on Instagram, as well as filtering issues and alerting hotels to ensure
resolution.
• Assist with Influencer requests and coordinate the influencer process with our Influencer Manager
• Weekly Status Updates (Analytics) + Quarterly Report
• Ensure all media is scheduled and posted as expected, taking a keen editorial eye to copy edits, spelling,
and grammar when needed.
ABOUT YOU:
• Experience managing social media accounts for robust personal or professional use
• Strong written and verbal skills (for external comms and team meetings)
• Understanding of social media analytics and experience in social media reporting
• Experience working with Canva, Photoshop, Falcon-Bandwidth, and Illustrator is preferred but not
necessary.
• Experience managing large social media accounts or some hotel knowledge desirable but not necessary.
• Phone and Computer access are required.
