MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Associate Manager, Global Social Media will support the always-on global social media team in an exhilarating role where strategy meets planning and execution on social initiatives for all markets and channels, with a strong emphasis on TikTok. The Global Associate Manager of Social Media is responsible for supporting all aspects of the fresh TikTok and influencer strategy – from daily responsibilities supporting our platforms to long term project support - increasing community engagement, expanding our brand awareness, up-leveling our content and developing social commerce revenue streams. This person will be critical to growing fresh’s integrated social media strategies that complement the brand’s overarching business goals while learning, evaluating, and reacting based on analytics. The Global Associate Manager of Social Media should be highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic, extremely organized and have strong communication and project management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain fresh’s leadership in the social media space, with a critical and intimate understanding of TikTok
  • Artfully weave together creativity with analytical thinking in order to support social media strategy that achieves brand, marketing and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with international market teams on local social media calendars, activations and influencer partnerships; inclusive of developing guidelines and reporting.
  • Safeguard and grow TikTok by building awareness while breaking through with trends and exciting new content
  • Create thoughtful, innovative, informative and entertaining content for brand, product and lifestyle campaigns, in partnership with our creative, digital and storytelling teams; suited especially for TikTok and video platforms.
  • Have a strong editorial & copywriting background as social tone of voice continues to evolve.
  • Master creative ideation, execution, editing and monitoring of TikTok content (with professional equipment & iPhones)
  • Lead all aspects of community management: interact directly with global audience and diligently respond to inquiries, while continuing to partner with global customer service teams to deliver a consumer-centric experience.
  • Define integral social media KPIs and manage dynamic reporting in order to measure the impact of each campaign, week, month and quarter.
  • Cultivate a robust rolodex of engaged influencers, both micro and macro who identify with brand values and can clearly express industry differentiation.
  • Partner with international e-commerce teams to further develop social commerce revenue streams
  • Actively track the competitive landscape and trends.
  • Effectively manage budget to business goals and develop a playbook as to how to invest paid social dollars and monitor performance.
  • Serve as a trendsetter with respect to emerging technology, trends and platforms. Understand the ever-evolving nature of social media and obsess over keeping fresh at the forefront of innovation, trends and “cool factor.

What you will learn (and/or achieve) in the first 6 months

The Associate Manager, Global Social Media will: immerse themselves into the brand ethos including the social expression of fresh. Focusing on TikTok evolution, content pillars, tone of voice, content creation, community engagement, and analytics this person will assist managing global brand content creation and the global social calendar for existing platforms and further push the brand expression on social.

The Associate Manager, Global Social Media will: play a pivotal role taking fresh to the next level as the brand expands it’s territory and authority, consistently across all platforms and markets.

PROFILE

  • 2-3 years of experience working in social media, influencer marketing, communications, media, or related digital media field; beauty experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of all social platforms from functionality to advertising products
  • Have worked on a brand or influencer’s official TikTok account, managing the calendar, copy, content creation, community management and analytics
  • Early adopter of social trends with a passion for innovation
  • Creative problem-solver who is solution oriented and can hone their creative eye
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to align internal and external partners in a swift, timely manner
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong copywriting skills with ability to quickly adopt, shift & evolve editorial tone of voice; editorial or copywriting experience mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate effectiveness of content and programs
  • Strong creative judgement to recognize engaging, and on-brand content (visuals/copy)
  • Well-versed in digital media and social media metrics and monitoring tools with some knowledge of media math (Dash Hudson, Tribe, etc)
  • Proficient technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint and SparkAR. Photography, Photoshop
  • Video editing skills is mandatory
  • Media & advertising skills a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Required/Preferred Languages: English, working knowledge of Mandarin or French a plus
