Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Dove North America (US and Canada) is looking for a PR & Influencer Marketing expert to drive to use the voice of others to amplify brand messages to authentically build credibility and trust with its audience to drive business and communications goals.
This Role Is Hyper Focused On Execution Of
- Dove’s external communications, PR & Influencer Marketing strategy
- Executing the integrated communications plan across Dove Female (across all categories)
- Partnering with the brand marketing teams on their campaigns or new core/innovation launches developing specific plans and assets and executing in market
- Managing annual PR and Influencer Marketing budgets
- Managing PR and Influencer marketing agencies
- Leading the PR & Influencer measurement and in-market optimization
- Setting annual KPIs for PR and influencer marketing programs across the total brand
- Responsible for maintaining strong media contacts and being the external-facing PR and Influencer marketing expert for Dove US/Canada
- Local issues management (US and Canada)

- Communications generalist, with an all-round excellent working knowledge of the various disciplines of communications such as media/public relations, social media/digital and issues management
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- An expert in PR, communications and influencer marketing (8-10 years of experience either at an agency and/or in-house), with perfect understanding of what does and does not work in PR and Influencer Marketing channels
- A beauty crafter who is able to create the compelling stories (written and visual content) to deliver maximum earned coverage in focus markets across earned and paid channels
- A self-starter who is obsessed with tangible business results, OKRs and pioneering new models – pushing the boundaries of what it takes to land impactful PR and influencer content (that drives engagement and ultimately sales)
- Ability to see all the priorities across the total brand to deliver the most optimal annual execution across PR and influencer marketing with breakthrough results
- A collaborator who thrives on working together with different teams and marketing specialties’ to execute programs with excellence and clarity
- Proven track record with executing award-winning PR and influencer marketing programs in the US (for both product and purpose campaigns.)
- A strategist and executor that leverages the thinking skills to develop strong programs for innovation and purpose campaigns while leading the agenda on leadership and culturally relevant topics.
- A strong business mindset focusing on what is needed to drive impact and business results for the Dove brand.
- Has a passion for purpose and beauty to help Dove craft and deploy activations, stunts and content that will capture media and consumer attention while drive engagement
- Proven track record of developing and executing content/communications that explain product functionality in an exciting/different way Define the network agencies that your brand will work with to design Others Say content and support markets in identifying their local network of agencies
- Manage junior members of the team to work independently and own work/projects – be a talent catalyst and take pride in developing their skills
- Be in control of risk & issues management – identify potential risks, mitigation, contribute to live issues management led by corporate comms incl. seeking the correct inputs from brand, R&D
- Existing media contacts with consumer and trade beauty print and online media, and broadcast outlets
