The Manager, Kimpton Tiered Services – Social Media is responsible for the strategic execution of an effective social media marketing and content strategy for hotels within the Kimpton brand. The Manager, Kimpton Tiered Services – Social Media will work with the Senior Manager, Content + Social Media to develop, implement, track, and optimize social media strategies for hotels and restaurants within the portfolio. Social encompasses organic strategy, boosting recommendations, content planning + scheduling, reporting, and general social management. Photography and graphic design skills are a plus. This individual will manage, maintain, and optimize all social content while regularly reporting on analytics to the property teams and ownership groups.

Responsibilities

Works with Hotel, Kimpton Tiered Services Teams and Agencies to strategize and execute organic social strategy, content, analytics, and other digital media strategies for customer acquisition and retention.

Create timely reporting and conduct analysis providing synthesis and summarization of findings, including recommendations and action items.

Conduct regular audits of social accounts and deliver timely, clever, and eye-catching content calendars on a monthly basis.

Monitor social account daily and perform community management on behalf of the hotels and restaurants.

Effectively social media marketing tactics to drive impressions, reach, and gain new followers.

Manage hotel/restaurant content for use, tap influencer partners as necessary to maintain a steady flow of high-quality content.

Produce value-added content as needed by working closely with internal stakeholders, freelancers, writers, customers and partners.

Benchmark social performance within hotel/restaurant’s comp set; develop creative and timely content to stand out. Continually monitor and report on competitor activity as relevant.

Maintain social media best practices, trends and tools.

Develop & manage relationships with hotel teams and owners, KTS digital and PR teams and the Kimpton Studio team.

Experience & Attributes

BS/BA Degree required in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or related field

2-4 years of demonstrated experience developing and implementing social media strategies and tactics

Ability to proactively organize, prioritize, and balance multiple deadlines

Highly motivated with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes in work objectives and available technologies.

Exceptional attention to detail, with respect to written copy, graphic design, and reporting

Working knowledge of Sprout Social (or other planning platform), Sprinklr, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & TikTok. Paid social experience is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Tools -- particularly with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

A passion for social media, including knowledge of evolving best practices, trends, and influencers.

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously on behalf of the social team and hotel stakeholders.
