Job Title: Kate Spade – Director, Media

Primary Purpose

We are looking for an experienced marketer to who can translate brand and business goals into paid media strategies from upper funnel awareness through to conversion and retention driving tactics across online and offline channels. While the position covers brand and performance media, there is heavy emphasis on bringing the brand to life through creative media strategies and a high degree of interaction with creative teams/agencies.

This role manages a team responsible for development of campaigns across Out of Home, Publisher Partnerships, Paid Social, Display & Video, Paid Search and Affiliates, supporting full price and off-price channels of business. The role is highly collaborative, working in close partnership across internal and external teams inclusive of Tapestry’s digital marketing center of excellence (COE) and agency partners to ensure media programs are planned and executed in a customer-centric, results-oriented manner.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Marketing to

  • Bring innovative thinking to drive brand heat, customer engagement and campaign performance
  • Play a key role in translating brand and business objectives into media strategies, demonstrating deep expertise across the breadth of marketing channels
  • Champion innovation within the media landscape, unlocking new platforms and mediums for the brand. Stay current on evolving media trends, technology, and opportunities. Work with partners and stakeholders to bring new activities to life
  • Partner with the CRM, Ecommerce and Tapestry teams to provide the best holistic customer experience across touchpoints, always keeping the customer journey in mind
  • Support the team in clearly briefing creative assets that will best achieve media goals. Manage the team to ensure briefs are submitted in a timely fashion with accurate and complete information
  • Clearly & succinctly present strategic approach, media plans, results, and recommendations to cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization
  • Partner with Organic Social & Influencer teams to ensure cohesion across paid, owned and earned media

An outstanding professional will have

  • 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience; with minimum of 4+ years of digital marketing and media experience
  • Brand marketing experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while anticipating team and business needs
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tactics and channels
  • Deep experience leading and facilitating teams as direct manager or project manager
  • Proven experience managing large scale marketing budgets with effective returns and traffic growth
  • Experience using media mix modeling and multitouch attribution tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication & quantitative skills are both a must
