Grand Time is a family-run, independent business, which first entered the watch industry by selling leather bands in India over 60 years ago. Now run by the third generation of family members — Grand Time is made up of a tight knit team of individuals who run two in-house watch brands: JBW & BREDA.

Our Social Media Coordinator role is a full-time, salaried position on the BREDA team reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. In this role you will work closely with our Marketing team to help maximize our social media channels, facilitate brand and artist partnerships, and monitor the landscape of social and digital trends to keep our brand forward-thinking. You will also closely collaborate with our Creative team to create original content for our social channels, focusing heavily on TikTok and Instagram. The person we are looking for is detail-oriented, organized, creative, collaborative, and excited about their career in social media.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media copywriting, scheduling and posting, community management, and content creation
  • Develop and implement social media strategy across primary channels (Instagram and TikTok) and secondary channels (Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest)
  • Create and execute original video content for Instagram and TikTok and act as the company's in-house content creator
  • Ideate on innovative and engaging content ideas
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manger to introduce campaign strategies for both social media and brand partnerships
  • Create actionable plans to grow engagement and followers on primary channels
  • Monitor trends in social media (Instagram and TikTok) and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
  • Update and interpret social media analytics on a weekly basis and apply learnings
  • Help develop and maintain the brand voice across all social media channels
  • Execute brand partnerships and/or events on a campaign basis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with artists and creatives to drive brand engagement
  • Facilitate gifting to artists, influencers, and creators as needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in social media and/or communications
  • Working knowledge in a social scheduling tool good to have, but not required
  • Strong social media, analytics, copywriting, and project management skills
  • Understanding of key social media channels, in-app reporting, and social media best practices
  • Ability to create original content that aligns with the brand’s creative vision
  • Not required, but good to have: event planning, brand partnerships, or influencer/affiliate management experience
