Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.
Role Description
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Influencer Marketing Manager to shape and scale Dropbox's influencer marketing efforts with a focus on our key audiences. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of current and emerging social platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, and TikTok.
This role will responsible for the strategy and execution of influencer marketing programs that align with our critical business needs. The candidate must be proficient in understanding data to make informed marketing decisions that yield the highest outcome against goals.
You will work with the cross-functional teams on strategy, budget alignment, execution, and optimization, ensuring consistent communication of progress and results. This position is part of the Brand Marketing Team and will work closely with Paid Media, Product Marketing, Team Social, Content, Events, and Comms as well as external parties
Responsibilities
- Build influencer marketing programs that align with our key audiences to boost brand loyalty and drive demand for our products
- Develop a deep understanding of Dropbox’s products and target audiences ensuring messaging and creative assets are optimized to best communicate customer needs and drive engagement on the right platform
- Manage day-to-day influencer marketing operations, including influencer sourcing, briefing, talk track recommendation, launch calendar, campaign set up, and optimization
- Develop a roadmap of experimentation to drive volume, consideration, and adoption
- Drive a cross-functional team alignment across Brand Marketing, Paid Media, Product Marketing, and Comms to bring our brand and products consistently across all channels, audiences, and touchpoints
- Effectively and consistently socialize plans, programs, and results with stakeholders at all levels across the organization
Requirements
- 5+ years of brand marketing/influencer marketing experience
- In-depth knowledge of influencer engagement strategies and reporting metrics
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally with internal and external teams
- Demonstrated ability in using data to drive business outcomes
- Roll up the sleeves’ attitude with strategic ‘big picture’ acumen
- Intellectual curiosity, ability to quickly grasp complex concepts, understand products/technologies and changing market dynamics
- Ability to navigate a matrix organization and represent the team with integrity, professionalism, and self-sufficiency
Total Rewards
For candidates hired in Colorado, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is $136,000 - $160,000 - $184,000.
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine a Dropboxer’s starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
