As the Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager, you’ll manage the creation of social media strategies and the planning and execution of successful social media and influencer campaigns. Ultimately, you should be able to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversion, with an emphasis on driving traffic to our retail partners across a range of social platforms, and be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of your activity.

You’ll have previous experience in social media and influencer marketing and be comfortable leading your own projects with an emphasis on measuring impact on brand goals and objectives.

You’ll work closely with the CMO, Founder, and Managing Partners and will be responsible for driving social strategy, managing budgets, brainstorming, and implementing new initiatives. As the brand grows, you’ll be responsible for hiring, managing, and training a team to service the demands of a growing brand.

Note: We are looking for someone with previous experience managing social media for a brand; CPG experience is preferred.

Role & responsibility

  • Audience: Use social listening tools to identify and build an understanding of our target audience and trends
  • Set clear objectives: Agree on objectives for campaigns considering traffic, brand awareness, customer retention, and online reputation as a starting point
  • Social strategy: Work alongside the CMO and Executive team to define and manage the Social strategy
  • Campaign Analysis: Analyze the end of campaign performance, coming back to the campaign objectives and business goals, and identify successes and areas for improvement
  • Influencer marketing: Work with the CMO to define the right approach for influencers to meet the set objectives. Identify and liaise with relevant influencers, negotiate fair rates for content, and ensure the relevant agreements are in place
  • Project management skills: Effectively manage campaigns and influencer contracts, ensuring they’re delivered on time, to a high standard; communicating with social influencers and platform partners will be necessary, as well as internal communications
  • Manage Production: work with the Creative team to plan, shoot, and edit content.
  • Event planning: work with our Field Marketing team to build excitement and awareness of upcoming brand events and with our Creative team to plan content capture at the events
  • Presentation and people skills: Strong presentation and speaking skills; ability to build and maintain relationships easily; ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build and maintain relationships; organized (you’ll work on multiple projects at once), with high attention to detail; a proactive, can-do attitude

Qualification & skills requirements

  • CPG or beverage brand experience preferred
  • Proven work experience managing social media across channels for a brand
  • Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms
  • Ability to deliver creative content ideas
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels
  • Expertise with social listening and community management tools
  • Paid social - knowledgeable about ad units and ad optimization
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytics skills

A potential day in the life of the Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager at Coastal Spritz:

9:00-9:30 - Respond to comments on social channels,

  • Direct product feedback to the executive team
  • Ensure customer support issues are properly addressed or of sent to the appropriate team member

9:30-10:00 - Search for opportunities to engage directly with accounts that fit our desired demographic - comment threads, sending links to resources, video replies on tik tok

10:00-11:00 - Search through Dovetail or one of our other influencer platforms to find potential collaborators to support retail accounts in a new market.

11:00-12:00 - Manage Influencer contacts - Ensure quality of upcoming posts, touch base with influencers to manage deadlines, address questions about the product, etc.

1:00-1:30 - Shoot impromptu social content in response to a relevant trend

1:30-3:30 - Schedule all content and write copy for next week’s Instagram and Tik Tok posts.

3:30-4:00 - Review resumes and applications for potential social media and content interns

4:00-4:30 - connect with CMO for 1:1 on the week’s objectives and strategic items you want to address

4:30-5:15 - work with the Creative team to plan content capture for next week’s event

5:15-6:00 - Influencer outreach
