Social Media Marketing Intern

Cratejoy, Inc. is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. Founded in 2014, Cratejoy is headquartered in Austin, TX, with a fully remote team distributed across the US. The Social Media intern reports to the Social Media Manager, based on the East coast.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in social media marketing and planning across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Daily community management, such as engaging in conversation, answering questions and responding to comments
• Build and maintain influencer lists and track success across ambassador campaigns
• Create unique, engaging content to distribute on social channels
• Brainstorm and offer ideas for social media projects

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective
• Familiarity with social media and reporting tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as a desire to learn, grow, and develop new skills

Required Education:

• Currently enrolled in college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at the time of application.
• Majoring in Digital Arts/Media, Communications, or Digital Marketing is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

$17/hour

This position will work remotely and require 15 hours of work per week.
