Reporting to the PR Manager, the PR Coordinator will be an integral member of our Miami Marketing team. Duties will be split 20% strategic & plan development, 80% tactical project work.

PUBLIC RELATIONS & PRESS OFFICE RESPONSABILITIES

  • Accomplish annual goal for PCO ranking, maximizing visibility for each category (jewelry, watches, accessories & resorts)
  • Compile and monitor master editorial features tracking document, including all press requests, pitching, anticipated editorial, secured editorial and missed opportunities
  • Share press releases and editorial information with local markets and to regional press upon PR Manager’s approval
  • Maintain database of HQ assets, press texts and brand communication tools across all categories including but not limited to press kits, images, launch packets, etc.
  • Compile regional daily Best Clippings report and submit to HQ
  • Distribute VIP dressing communications to local and regional press
  • Liaise with all key contacts for the logistics associated with photo shoots within the US, including transport & security
  • Liaise with press, to address press enquiries and requests
  • Manage logistics for press trips, building full itinerary (booking hotels, restaurants, entertainment, transfers) and following up to maximize coverage opportunities
  • Update internal platform for editorial assets distribution

KOL’S & VIP

  • Co-build with PR Manager a strategy for activation of KOL leaders for the region throughout the year
  • Monitor ongoing activities with KOL’s, track results and prepare timely post-activation reports
  • Assist in identifying and implementing collaborations and relationship lead activations suitable with the brand’s guidelines and profiles
  • Coordinate and arrange lunches and dinners to enhance network
  • Manage logistics of celebrities’ trips, building full itinerary (booking hotels, restaurants, entertainment, transfers)

REPORTING RESPONSABILITIES

  • Prepare regional daily monthly coverage for submission to HQ
  • Compile regional coverage (PCO) reports, verifying accuracy and following up on estimated values
  • Track monthly editorial coverage reports for the region as follows:
  • validating the information on Knewin Link Platform and DMR platforms
  • investigating and submitting any missing coverage
  • analyze monthly and quarterly performance
  • Manage DMR platform and analyze post-activation report for digital influencer campaigns
  • Prepare benchmarking information regarding press/image or influencer related initiatives from competitors and report them on a timely manner

BUDGET & INVENTORY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Assist in the ordering and tracking of the PR Gifting and PR set inventory for the region
  • Monitor inventory in liaison with local teams
  • Organizes all shipping for Latam region
  • Perform finance related tasks as follows:
  • add new vendors to the Procurement system
  • submit and track invoices related to public relations, following up with Accounts Payable team as needed

CROSS FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build regional editorial calendar with all topics to be communicated as well as activations throughout the year
  • Support the PR Manager in the communication needs for Travel Retail and Wholesale channels
  • distribute relevant internal information to commercial partners
  • liaise with commercial partners for the implementation of KOL activations
  • monitor social media activities of commercial partner accounts ensuring adherence to company’s social media guidelines
  • Be responsible for updating and maintaining tools that support the delivery of communications activities, including calendars and templates
  • Create presentations to illustrate team initiatives
  • Update, and maintain press, e-influencer, and industry contacts database for the pan-regional market, ensuring accurate records for internal reporting tools.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position within a corporate office environment
  • Previous experience in Luxury Industry or PR agency preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Canva a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Portuguese a plus
  • Exceptional writing skills, outstanding oral communications with the ability to represent the brand
  • Good knowledge of social media channels and emerging trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle both internal, transversal, and external stakeholders (staff, partners, and press)
  • Superior planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to multi-task
  • Pro-active, curious, and dynamic. Highly self-motivated with sharp attention to detail and strong focus on execution & rigorous implementation. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision when needed
  • Great aesthetic and understanding of the luxury world
  • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours and weekends as needed
  • Available to travel as needed
