The Role:

Our team is looking to fill a Marketing Assistant position. Working closely with the Brand Marketing + PR Director, the Marketing Assistant will support the execution of integrated PR and brand marketing tactics for the BBC ICECREAM umbrella brands.

The Marketing Assistant’s role is a multifaceted role that spans PR, CSR, Brand Marketing, and Community Events. They will be an integral part of the growing creative marketing team at BBC ICECREAM, assisting with activity that will benefit both international BBC ICECREAM Halo brands and our US stores.

  • Support Brand Marketing + PR Director in creating for presentation decks
  • Assist in the execution of in-store initiatives and events
  • Influencer marketing management – identifying influencers/KOLs/ambassadors, maintaining influencer relationships, and seeding
  • Liaise with and guide 3rd party PR agencies
  • Note-taking and general project management support to keep all brand projects on schedule
  • Manage product sample inventory
  • Support social media initiatives through post scheduling and community management/engagement
  • Other projects and tasks as needed

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field is essential
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a previous type of role or similar
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and some research proficiencies
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and results in achievement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
