Job Description

The Ad Associate contributes to behindthechair.com by managing daily communications with our clients and brand partners to help plan, organize and execute client marketing campaigns on our platforms. This position is part of our larger Advertising team and reports directly to the Director of Client Operations.

Join our growing team! Our advertising team is currently made up of 3 Account Associates, 2 Traffic Coordinators, 1 Director and 1 Vice President. Our business is continuing to grow and for the first time we're expanding to have 4 Account Associates.

We are looking for a stellar multitasker with an exceptional eye for detail who wants to excel in the beauty industry with expertise in social media, digital advertising campaigns and influencer marketing! The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current advertising clients in order to advocate for their digital and social campaign success.

What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage daily communications with clients on marketing & social assets needed, scheduling campaigns and campaign success.
• Work cross functionally with various internal departments to meet client objectives & campaign success.
• Create and maintain relationships with a portfolio of advertising clients to better understand and achieve their goals.
• Report weekly to your manager & director about the health of client accounts and live campaigns.
• Assist advertising team in scheduling and managing meetings and appointments.
• Communicate with internal teams to organize client assets and creative as needed for advertising campaigns.
• Manage digital and social campaign components while meeting deadlines.
• Analyze campaign performance across digital, social & influencer activations.

Who You Are (Job Requirements)

• You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant advertising and/or client relations experience.
• You are a confident written/email communicator.
• You have strong organization and time management skills.
• You are comfortable with a client facing role, including e-mail, video chat and in-person communication.
• You have a desire to become knowledgeable around multiple clients and their campaigns on a monthly and yearly basis.
• You are proficient in MS Office and Google suite applications.
• You are comfortable with project management and/or CRM tools.
• You pride yourself on having a strong attention to detail.
• You are task oriented and comfortable working independently, but also open to team collaboration.
• You love to find ways to work smarter, not harder.
• You have a passion for the hair and beauty industry.
• You have an interest and desire to become familiar with industry influencers and brands to better understand campaigns and meet client objectives.
• You are familiar with social media analytics, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
• You have the ability and a willingness to travel (est. 1-4 times a year, TBD).
• Not required, but would love to know if you have an understanding of any of the following third party tools (Google Data Studio, Later,Traackr or any other scheduling tool)
