We are looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to join our team in Montclair, NJ. The Director of Influencer Marketing will create influencer marketing strategy, including evergreen seeding, product launches, paid promotions, and affiliate deals. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who is collaborative and has strong communication and follow through. This position will work closely with the Marketing team as well as with our founder, Bobbi Brown, to elevate Jones Road across all demographics and raise brand awareness.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the influencer marketing team and direct a multi-tiered, data-driven influencer marketing strategy on a global scale for launch campaigns, ongoing seeding, and paid partnerships
  • Execute all outreach, onboarding, sampling, gifting, and management of the influencer community
  • Strategize and identify creative influencer marketing campaigns to support product launches and drive brand awareness and reach on Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and other social platforms
  • Establish and maintain regular communication between the brand and influencer partners, actively source and negotiate new influencer partnerships
  • Hit influencer marketing specific KPIs, including EMV, CPA, and affiliate targets
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget, in tandem with the program KPIs
  • Partner with the Growth Marketing team to identify content creators for paid, whitelisting campaigns
  • Partner with the Social team to identify and collaborate on content creators for organic social media content needs
  • Create an organized and effective content pipeline from influencers that can be used on paid and organic channels
  • Set influencers up for success by creating seeding guidelines and timelines, reviewing content, tracking go live dates, recording performance, and generating post campaign KPI reports
  • Manage send out process, ensuring they are being sent by the Admin Assistant on a timely basis

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 7 years’ of social media marketing experience, including influencer marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Proven track record of developing effective influencer marketing programs
  • Experience working in the beauty industry
  • Strong influencer contacts
  • High level of creativity balanced with strategic aptitude
  • Pulse on latest beauty and social media trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
