The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving key brand and business objectives by leveraging omnichannel marketing activities in all areas related to brand initiatives including; partnerships and collaborations, PR, events, digital ads and activations, and print initiatives, with an eye towards brand elevation and growth. Must have 8+ years of related experience and also must have experience in the fashion industry.
This person will oversee the day-to-day operations including ideating, planning, and execution of yearly marketing calendar initiatives and budget, overseeing paid social metrics and needs, brand & ambassador partnerships, as well as social initiatives to reach both growth & revenue goals. This person will help to establish and carry out new marketing programs across email acquisition, brand collaborations, customer initiatives, events, and social media–all while keeping in mind three key objectives: The Fleur brand experience, relationships & growth across all channels.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Partnerships:
- Drive the development of seasonal brand campaign and product launch activations
- Evolve the brand with omnichannel perspective across all touch points including: Oversee Partnership opportunities, Digital advertising, experiential marketing, acquisition partnerships, ambassador channels, brand emails, social content calendar, in-store collateral, and direct mail
- Act as point of contact with external partners in planning execution and reporting of all marketing brand partnerships
- Manage PR, Social & Influencer teams to successfully execute initiatives
- Create clear creative briefs, manage timelines, and recap marketing performance for executive teams and brand partners
- Develop marketing calendar in alignment with budget and projections for the year
- Identify like-minded partners across various categories including beauty, wellness, travel & hospitality, jewelry, media, concierge, wine & spirits, and other luxe lifestyle outlets
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing content through GA and FB
- Plan and assist in all PR initiatives and events, partnering with our PR agency
Influencer Affiliate Marketing:
- Drive brand awareness and demand for new products through influencer initiatives
- Identify on-brand and impactful personalities and outlets to launch new products and reinforce brand messaging
- Data-driven optimization of our programs for driving qualified traffic and acquiring new customers
- Increase Fleur’s following with qualified members
- Oversee influencer placements/campaigns including gifting, contract negotiations, and reporting
- Identify proper affiliate channels and oversee affiliate partners to help increase sales through their respective platforms
- Social Media & PR Marketing: Oversee social media team, bringing knowledge of the landscape & tools
- Strategize, develop, manage, and execute a monthly multi-channel content calendar for social platforms that both support product/brand campaigns and tell the brand story with our aesthetic and voice
- Oversee the development of compelling, original, and platform-specific content. Both organic/promoted content strategy
- Monitor social channels and campaigns, provide actionable and insightful reports to help inform on strategy and KPIs
- Ensure Social Media & PR team deliverables maintain brand standards
- Email + SMS: Oversee daily execution of email campaigns in alignment with key product drops/revenue objectives and ensuring accurate, on-time campaign strategy and delivery
- Work with all external partners to analyze and report on both quarterly and yearly performance, identify trends and best practices–all to optimize growth and ensure KPIs are met
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- 8+ years experience in fashion/lifestyle marketing with experience handling communications and relationships with both internal and external parties
- Must have at least 4+ years of digital advertising / paid social advertising experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
- A creative thinker who is highly organized, detail-oriented and focused
- Ability to drive content creation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape as a means to drive awareness and conversion
- Passion for the influencer and social media space
- Ability to multi-task with a positive attitude
- Appreciation and understanding of the Fleur brand and its aesthetic and sensibility
