Bumble BFF creates a safe space for women to easily find friends near you, to build community and to feel a sense of belonging. The Community Marketing Team’s objective is to build and execute localized community marketing go-to-market plans that drive viral growth and sustained engagement in our key markets.
As the Senior Manager, Community Activations, you will be responsible for building and executing the go-to-market strategies and playbooks for community events, local partnerships and for influencers in each city.
This role will be based in the US (Remote), This role is on Bumble BFF’s Community Team and reports to the Community Lead.
What You Will Do
- Build scalable, always-on hyper local community activations playbook to execute in each city.
- Oversee execution of playbooks in each city and recommend adjustments based on key learnings
- Vet, list-build, and manage vendors/agency partners
- Hire, onboard, and manage local city contractor + coordinator
- Measure success of activations and build key learning and wrap reports
- Lead all Bumble BFF experiential efforts and initiatives
- Create and maintain project plans for Marketing programs and initiatives, formally tracking task execution and progression toward team and program objectives
Key Skills
- 8+ years of experience in managing and executing community marketing campaigns, with specific experience in experiential, partnerships and / or influencer marketing.
- Experience driving customer acquisition and growth through the implementation of community activations (viral growth a plus).
- Experience managing high-profile initiatives, working with internal and external teams to ensure programs are launched to the highest impact.
- Strong budget and project management skills, attention to detail, and communication.
- Knowledge of consumers, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience
- Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure we are launching our programs seamlessly, and to the highest impact
