Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant will support the Chief Creative Officer, Head of Content & Marketing & Social Media Manager in developing key initiatives, product launches, holidays, and events as well as maintaining social media and content calendars.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of the creative/marketing teams. Must be open to working onsite.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and ability to complete administrative tasks inclusive of managing calendars, corresponding with outside partners, managing files and image archiving. Is innovative and results-driven.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist management with developing and maintaining an aesthetic and brand that reflects the Company’s core values and ideas.
• Partner with Management & the Creative Department to create original content for all social media platforms.
• Support the process of social posting strategies that align with the brand’s marketing calendar to increase engagement, visibility, and following on all social channels.
• Assist in the production phase, working closely with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers, and production companies.
• Assist with influencer database management, research, and gifting efforts.
• Assist as needed with brand photo shoots.
• Assist with weekly and monthly reporting and recaps.
• Coordinate the day-to-day communications and posts across all social media channels, inclusive of: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Maintain a voice in line with the brand’s messaging at all times.
• Engage in conversation (including direct messaging and inquiries) with consumers in brand voice.
• Participate in castings.
• Support full production process from beginning to end.
• Augment usage of the Company’s blog.
• Conduct competitor analysis and trend reports within the industry.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with all internal and external partners.
• Ongoing curiosity for news and trends; constantly introducing new stimulation for the brand.
• Administrative duties as needed by the team.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience as creative/marketing/social media intern/assistant.
• Graphic Design experience is a plus.
• Creative instincts in all facets of the creative process.
• Expertise with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Communication and organization skills.
• Full time, entry level, non-exempt position.
