Digital Media Coordinator
Position Title: Digital Coordinator/Social Copy Coordinator - Entry/Junior Level
Reports to: Senior Manager, Influencer & Digital, various Account Leads

WHO YOU ARE:
The Digital Coordinator is an integral part of the Digital team, working directly under the Senior Manager, Influencer & Digital on all projects. He/She/They will collaborate with Account Teams to ensure clients are properly promoted and will continuously seek out new digital trends and opportunities. He/She/They should understand the art of engagement and how to maximize and maintain a strong online presence for clients – from content curation to community management and influencer outreach/collaboration, as needed. This is a fully integrated role; candidate will participate across all digital projects.

Essential Duties + Reporting:
- Manage content calendars for both Agency as well as assigned clients
- Write and edit engaging posts for various social media channels as well as blog
- Monitor for organic social activity, ensuring it aligns with branding and key messages
- Schedule & publish approved, final content to social channels
- Optimize & strengthen brand voice and social presence of both owned and assigned client channels
- Manage community engagement on Agency channels and assigned client accounts
- Coordinate with internal teams to create posts for clients (e.g. for events, openings, news etc.)
- Create content and/or coordinate content shoots for IG feed, IG reels, IG Stories, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok
- Develop creative graphics / Instagram story content strategies
- Develop social media giveaways and engagement tactics
- Review and translate weekly social insights for Agency and assigned client accounts
- Assist in drafting and issuing monthly metric reports for assigned clients
- Prepare daily social media clips for clients
- Maintain an active involvement with influencers in the industry in order to develop and maintain valuable relationships
- Monitor trends, both cultural and digital. Update Agency on emerging tools, platforms, content, and applications that can be used to engage digital communities
- Attend industry and cultural events in an effort to capture content for owned channels
- Daily tracking/updates in programs such as Asana, ensuring all assigned tasks are included
- Day-to-day administrative assistance to Senior Manager, Influencer & Digital

Client Management
- Attend client calls and meetings as needed. Complete necessary agendas and recaps
- Assist with the technical upkeep of all clients’ social channels; this includes daily monitoring and engagements
- Review, QA, and save all assets to Shared Drive
- Request and compile point of purchase and screenshots after campaign launch
- Participate in creative brainstorming, offering creative suggestions, research support, and thoughtful analysis
- Maintain an influencer database with accurate and up to date brand partnerships
- Create and manage content calendars for all assigned social media clients
- Lead content gathering sessions under the guidance of the DMM/DD for clients and at off-site events/shoots
- Note and respond to Fan/Follower posts throughout the day and during agreed upon after-hours scheduling
- Write meeting agendas, recaps, when necessary

Required Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong social media copywriting skills, exhibiting the ability to pivot between client and agency voice seamlessly
- A keen eye to create and curate on-brand, engaging content
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Must be personable, enthusiastic, punctual and a hard worker
- Basic knowledge of photo, video and graphic editing apps to create social assets: Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud Programs (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), Enlight, Snapseed
- Must be familiar with Sprout Social and Asana
- Must be organized and keep up with tight deadlines
- Must be able to monitor platforms on weekends
- Must be able to attend client and industry events, sometimes after hours
- Excellent communicator with solid attention to detail
- Maintain a flexible and adaptable mindset by continually evaluating, revising and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs, while performing functions and duties as assigned. Ability to work independently and virtually. Able to effectively multitask and prioritize time.

Qualifications:
(Please note: this is a junior level opportunity)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in social media, community management and influencer relations (not internship) required. Agency experience in PR, food, lifestyle or hospitality, a plus.
