Operations Manager (East Coast)
Influential is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead resourcing and project management initiatives for some of the biggest brands in influencer marketing. As a core member of the Business Operations team, you will partner closely with Client Solutions, Sales, and other operational teams to set projects up for success.
The Operations Manager masterfully balances employee skill sets and backgrounds with business needs and operational demands. This role will drive optimal resource utilization and workflows through thoughtful applications of resource management, project management, and data driven decision-making.

On a typical day, you will:
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to understand the resourcing needs on active projects, as well as the pipeline of potential upcoming projects
- Assign resources to RFPs and campaigns promptly, while taking bandwidth, capabilities, and interests into consideration
- Maintain accurate assignments, timelines, and other relevant details in project management tools
- Provide on-going visibility into resource availability, proactively working to rebalance team members who are above/below utilization targets
- Monitor project health; identify risks, resolve open issues, and audit project data on a regular basis
- Communicate frequently with internal teams to track project status ensuring adjustments are made as necessary
- Implement, evangelize, and enforce operational workflows; building new and evolving processes to improve outcomes and support scale
- Manage reporting; create and manipulate data, analyzing critical business metrics to help the organization manage performance
- Lead and assist with special projects as necessary
Being an Operations Manager requires:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 5+ years experience in business operations, resource management, and/or project management within a creative agency or marketing organization.
- Strong reporting experience with demonstrated proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to prioritize competing business needs, manage deadlines, and proactively manage business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable escalating or following up with stakeholders when requests get roadblocked.
- Excitement for building processes to accommodate new products and challenges, leveraging strong data skills to share insights and make actionable recommendations.
- A keen attention to detail with inherent motivation toward continuous improvement.
