About The Role:
TodayTix Group (TTG) is seeking a VP of Brand to define and lead our global brand strategy and execution across B2C, B2B, and corporate brands. Reporting to the SVP of Global Marketing, the VP of Brand will work across the TodayTix Group portfolio of owned and partnered properties, including TodayTix, an app for the best prices on theatre tickets with over 6m users across 16 markets. Managing a talented global team of 20+ spanning Comms, Social, Customer Experience, and Creative, this role will be responsible for shaping and promoting TTG and TodayTix across earned and owned media, including press, editorial, social, influencers, product marketing, and partnerships.
Please note: this is a full time role that can be performed remotely or in the office. Qualified candidates must be based in the US and able to work east coast hours. For those based in the greater NYC area, when it comes to determining whether to work in the office, remotely, or a mix of both, we empower our teams to design what works best for them. What You'll Do:
- Govern and evolve the mission, vision, and values of the TTG corporate brand and TodayTix consumer brand, as well as the portfolio strategy of our numerous owned and partnered brands; partner with our CEO, SVP of Marketing, VP of Product + Strategy, and regional GMs on ensuring our brands are well represented across all consumer touchpoints
- With CEO and SVP Marketing, establish a creative “north star” for the company and own defining the resource needs, timeline, budget, and roadmap for execution of category-defining creative
- Define, own, and manage to Brand KPIs, including facilitating the execution of a “six-star” customer experience across all geographies and retailer brands
- Lead our consumer insights practice, partnering with stakeholders in Product, Growth, and Strategic Analytics to define our “audience mosaic” and establish segment marketing strategies
- Build and oversee a world-class brand partnerships and social influencer network
- Develop strategies for consumer, corporate, and product communications that will drive brand awareness and affinity
We're Looking for Someone With:
- 12-15 years in Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing, and/or Creative functions with experience optimizing to commercial impact. In-house consumer brand experience leading brand marketing teams required; agency-only experience need not apply
- Demonstrated expertise in significantly increasing brand awareness for established brands, and building highly engaged communities alongside a rapidly-scaling business
- Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing, commercially-oriented in-house Creative teams; exceptional creative and storytelling instincts of your own
- Analytical acumen, proven experience and ability to translate financial business objectives into brand goals
- Proven experience growing brand awareness among target demographics; demonstrated history of using data and customer insight to fuel brand definition and growth
- Deep experience telling the stories of consumer (B2C) tech companies, including partnering with executive management on positioning, M&A strategy, and thought leadership
- Grit and “out of the box” thinking; ability to rise above your job description to get the job done
- Experience managing multiple brands in the same market or vertical, and/or two-sided marketplace brands, a plus
- Passion for theatre a huge plus
