Reports to: creative director

Social Media Manager & Content Creator will provide leadership and be responsible for ensuring a strong, positive, and professional relationship with our guests, owners, associates, and vendors. Together with the Operations Management team, you ill execute a variety of tasks in housekeeping, maintenance, and guest service to ensure the day-to-day operations of the business meet the company’s standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • (Re)launch companies social accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase brand awareness and follower counts.
  • Collaborate with our copywriting and design team to brainstorm on-brand, culturally relevant content ideas and campaigns (paid and organic).
  • Create original content tailored for each platform, including but not limited to images, videos, GIFS, and copy.
  • Routinely visit our properties to capture footage and photos for use within social posts.
  • Collaborate with in-house or freelance designers to design original posts, as needed.
  • Vet and manage influencer partnerships, including ensuring that the influencer content is on-brand, monitoring its performance, and posting/ reposting content on our O&O social channels.
  • Plan, build, and maintain our social marketing calendar, including identifying important dates and events, and aligning our content accordingly.
  • Perform research on market/ cultural/ platform trends and audience preferences.
  • Develop a strategic content roll-out plan; publish and/or schedule social posts accordingly.
  • Oversee cross-platform community management, including communicating with followers by responding to inquiries in comments and DMs.
  • Establish KPIs for organic performance; analyze key metrics to measure audience engagement and sentiment; collect and share learnings & takeaways.

Qualifications/Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation/ management
  • Degree in marketing, writing, English, or related field
  • Proficient in social media platforms, including best practices for content creation, cadence, and publishing
  • Skilled in Adobe photoshop for the purposes of resizing/ recoloring images
  • A passion for creativity and crafting engaging content
  • Skilled in platform analytics and collecting learnings from key data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent research skills and an ability to identify social media, market, and cultural trends
  • Time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines
  • A hands-on work ethic and a willingness create new processes and creative workflows from the ground up
  • Next-level ambition and a drive to maximize creativity and generate results

Working Conditions

· Will work in a fast-paced environment.

· Will liaise with guests, groups and external parties.

· Frequent travel to property sites, external vendor offices, company offices, etc.
