Role Overview:
Looking for a highly motivated individual to own our influencer and social marketing initiatives, and grow our community through authentic storytelling and partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, this role will oversee the strategy and campaigns across all Social Channels, Influencers, and Community Management with the goal of increasing engagement and growing our community through innovative content, a consistent voice and an elevated brand filter. This role will lead and help build our community of global brand advocates in the fitness, fashion, outdoor and athlete space. This role will help develop a distinct brand voice that builds & engages with stories that are inclusive, authentic & timely. They will also be a direct business contributor by driving traffic and supporting our omnichannel marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Own and manage Vuori’s social and influencer strategy, budget, calendar, and execution of plans. Ability to think big and execute effectively.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Social Media and Influencer teams, setting clear expectations, goals and nurturing their growth.
- Align with go-to-market strategies and interpret brand briefs to ensure that all influencer and social activations deliver against key objectives and timelines.
- Innovate social strategies that support brand initiatives with focus on brand-building, storytelling, consumer engagement.
- Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Creative teams to align priorities and serve as a true brand steward, ensuring consistent effective content activation, with integrated campaign launches across key social channels.
- Own the budget, and oversee all aspects of influencer contracting for brand campaigns and creators, including talent sourcing, outreach, negotiation, legal sign-off and payments.
- Develop and distribute influencer briefs to guide content creation.
- Manage influencer content creation process, ensuring all deliverables are met and that content is approved & posted in an efficient manner.
- Build brand equity, cultivating relevance and awareness, fostering community, and generating brand buzz.
- Maximizing brand social media channels to positively shape the Vuori customer experience through elevated community management.
- Analyze Influencer campaign and social performance to provide valuable insights to key stakeholders, as well as to maintain internal benchmarks.
- Work with external agencies to effectively run paid and gifted influencer programming, as needed.
- Lead strategy and execution for in-person influencer events and activations, working with external partners as needed.
- Develop and integrate real-time storytelling from various brand activations.
- Maintain an understanding of social media and influencer marketing landscape, staying on top of trends and implementing changes as needed - specifically across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in brand marketing with a sophisticated understanding of social channels along with earned and paid tactics.
- Proven record of building consumer brands in social and earned media.
- Hands-on experience and deep understanding of influencer and social marketing tactics.
- Experience building, leading, and managing a team of direct reports, with the ability to drive multiple projects at once.
- A deep empathy for consumers and strong interest in fashion, fitness and culture.
- Familiarity with influencer / social reporting and management platforms.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative and works well in a cross-functional team.
- Motivated work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Capable of moving quickly and feels comfortable having autonomy to lead projects.
- Strategic thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
