Fabletics is looking for a Jr. Video Editor.

How do you Fit in?

Fabletics is looking for a performance marketing video editor with a passion for creating ads that drive conversion to join the Marketing Acquisition team. This role will be responsible for creating video assets and ads for our acquisition marketing needs including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Youtube and streaming advertising campaigns. The right candidate is an expert in video and design with a deep understanding of different social media and digital platforms. You are a quick learner that adapts the brand’s aesthetics while utilizing digital performance video and design best practices to create action-driven creative. You pay attention to detail, while also maintaining a big picture mindset. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a positive, can-do attitude. You enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in video, design and social media.

You will report to the ACQUISITION VIDEO MANAGER and partner closely with THE ACQUISITION TEAM.

What You Can Bring

  • 1+ years of experience as a video editor in direct response advertising, marketing agency, growth team, social media, or similar
  • B.A. or B.S. in Film, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, or equivalent (or comparable work experience)
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and other video programs
  • Expert knowledge of the Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok platforms including trends, editing effects, and general tone of voice
  • Basic understanding of growth marketing terminology, or willingness to learn
  • Clear communication and collaborative work style
  • Self-starter: resourceful, diligent, creative in problem-solving with high attention to detail, while also being aware of big picture needs.

  • If you have experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce business with a focus on paid advertising and performance marketing.
  • If you have experience with fashion, beauty, fitness or lifestyle brands.
  • If you are comfortable in analyzing data with marketing teams
  • If you have on-set video production experience

What You Will Do

  • Create video ads for Facebook/Instagram, streaming, and YouTube using editorial footage, ambassador/influencer footage, and still images
  • Create gif-style, and short story ads in various aspect ratios
  • Strong understanding of design composition and typography with high attention to detail
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing team to use learnings from tests and use that data to determine creative decisions by building on winning formulas to get better results
  • Drive concepts from ideation to execution with little direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong understanding of video best-practices: file formats, codecs and their proper handling in a post-production workflow, as well as keep up with software updates and new products available to increase workflow efficiency
  • Keep up with paid social media and growth marketing trends. Have a willingness to share inspiration and updates with the team
