We are looking for a data-savvy marketer to join our team as our Content Marketing Analyst. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong analytical capabilities in addition to strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts to easily digestible written & visual content. They should be creative, naturally curious, and self-driven.
This role will be responsible for helping to develop compelling content that helps grow revenue and build Numerator’s brand with press and other external influencers. You will work with consumer panel and survey data to develop analyses that support thought-leadership content (blogs, reports, infographics, etc.), press outreach, event presentations, and more.
As our Content Marketing Analyst, you will get a chance to work in a unique, high-visibility position, working closely with the marketing team, as well as the leaders across the company. Your work will have potential to gain national press coverage and be a key component of Numerator’s lead generation strategy.

What You'll Do
- Perform deep dive analysis to understand drivers of consumer behavior and the retail landscape
- Assist in the creation of data-driven short and long-form content projects including blog posts, whitepapers, reports, webinars, infographics and more
- Partner closely with cross functional teams such as Survey, Client Services, Product Marketing and Data Science to leverage the full breadth of Numerator resources in marketing content
- Support the development of original research and data that supports ongoing press, analyst and external influencer relationship building
- Run exploratory analysis to uncover new areas of opportunity that can influence key decisions
Skills & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing-focused data analytics role or content marketing role with strong data analysis skills
- Bachelor’s or relevant working experience in marketing, communications, cognitive science, statistics, computational marketing or similar
- Proven analytic skills: conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to derive results from insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable writing about and presenting data to technical, non-technical and executive audiences
- Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights or experience as a service provider to these functions
- You are highly organized, results oriented, full of integrity and couples strategic analysis with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong data visualization skills, with ability to communicate data-driven insights in a compelling and digestible way
- Understanding of both syndicated and household panel data (Nielsen and/or IRI)
- A team player who’s able to partner with cross-functional teams to quickly turn insights into actions
- Experience with design, writing, blog management, social media, and/or B2B marketing
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby)
- Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus
- Experience in managing larger consumer data
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence software such as Microstrategy and Tableau.
