If so, please consider joining our organization as a Social Media Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for developing and implementing transformational social media marketing strategies including planning, creative and content development, media budgeting, and developing communication calendars that meet business objectives and align with the Quartz Brand and standards. This collaborative professional will represent social strategies in cross-functional campaigns and meetings to inspire new ideas and bring organizational ideas/plans to the public through various content channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies, including planning, content and creative development, media budgeting, and developing communication calendars that meet business objectives and align with Quartz Brand and standards.
  • Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to ensure social media efforts compliment the overall marketing vision while maximizing social media marketing goals.
  • Manage and develop creative content to support key business objectives and to achieve social media channel goals.
  • Transform presence on social media channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc., monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of new strategies
  • Drive and achieve engagement metrics including an increase in net new customers to all social channels to retain customer loyalty.
  • Develop and maintain social reporting dashboard, and report against key KPI’s
  • Develop strategic approach to monitor and respond to guest messages, comments and reviews within a timely manner.
  • Research social media trends and content effectiveness to stay up to date and drive new engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders and external partners to maximize social media channel(s) potential, inspiring new, innovative ways to connect with customers and prospects, while ensuring messaging is appropriate and aligned with Quartz Brand and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in social media platforms, channels and/or marketing programs.
  • Experience implementing and executing effective social media marketing strategies to drive paid and organic engagement
  • Experience influencing media spend and budgeting in a manner that effective meets organizational needs, including marketing campaigns, product promotion, and/or recruitment
  • Proficient in common computer applications including social media websites and platforms, internet research, Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
  • Strong understanding of our customers’ needs and challenges. Utilize their feedback to enhance customer interactions and experiences.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, production and printing capabilities and resources preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, proof reading and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners and customers to drive desired results and provide positive experiences.
  • Effective multi-tasking, decision making, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

This position can work 100% remotely or from our office in Madison, WI in a hybrid or full-time on-site arrangement, if preferred. Ability to occasionally travel to Madison, WI is preferred. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
